I agree. He has vital experience and knowledge. It's not going to be the same without him. No one there has his mix of kindness experience and hard work is going to be a huge huge challenge.
Kory has put so much effort into Horse plus, it's such a shame to see him go and I'm sure he'll miss the horses. Saying that, at the end of the day the price of living these days is just so much. If you're supporting a family it's gotten so bad just to buy groceries. I wish him all the best with his future, I hope he finds somewhere he enjoys. You're a legend Kory
They sure are !!! What jems !! I hope they don’t leave like Kory did !!! They can find the money for a brand new truck and those are so expensive!! Brand new staff quarters !
@@leanneadams2549 Wow! Why in the world are you judging how HPHS is running their rescue? Tawnee is right, as a non-profit, they cannot afford to pay what a for profit company can. Non-profit organizations cannot pay the going rate for what a for profit company can because they need to make sure that the primary focus (money) is on the "mission," not salaries. Part of the reason the construction trade is paying so much right now is because there is a shortage of people willing and/or skilled enough to do the work. I know lots of young people who don't want anything to do with the trades as they don't want to work that hard and beat their bodies up by doing so. It's a shame as lots of the trades have apprenticeships so there isn't the college loan debt that follows the college graduates (or not) to their grave, if not paid off before they die. My dad was an auto mechanic, having grown up with a dad who worked on cars all his life, passing the skills he learned to his son. He, in turn passed it on to myself and my siblings. One brother chose to work on motorcycles. The rest of us could do the work but chose other careers. My mom was a registered nurse with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing, which was unheard of in her day. (Normally women got a Bachelor of Arts degree, which didn't have as much science and math in the curriculum.) Mom spent all her younger years saving up the money she needed to go to college, finishing up all but a few classes before meeting and marrying my dad. After I was born she went back and finished up the classes and got her degree. She set that aside, taking in laundry and babysitting other children until all of us children had entered either late elementary or junior high school. Then she reentered the work force as an RN working in the operating room at our local hospital.
😢 So sorry to see Korey go but I wish him well. We will surely miss his calming presence in every aspect of rescue that he touched. I hope he comes to visit from time to time. Goodbye Korey! God Bless you in this move. I will be praying 🙏 for you
Corey has been doing so much for so long - he needs to put himself first. I know the dedication he has shown must take a toll on him. Wishing Corey the very best and thanks for all you have done for animals and humans during the years ❤
I am so glad Hailey decided to extend her training period. She is learning and experiencing so much. She will be a huge asset when she goes back home. Cory will be very much missed.

Thank you for showing the 2 month old foal nursing with her Mom before heading off again---you all certainly needed a little happiness and joy. God Bless.
I agree, she really is a warmful person when it comes to saddening things like this. His been a absolute god sent when he started working there and to see him leave is heartbreaking but I hope Corey will have a good life ahead and that we are rooting for him.
Poor Dino 😢. What a cute bsby horse, so kind of his owner's to drive seven hours to bring the baby to HP and then turn around and reunite her with her mom, im glad the baby's prognosis is excellent 👌. So nice of Carrie to take all those horse's, donkeys, cat's and dog's.😊
What's the story of the goat with bandaged leg she's in stall with? I saw her in last episode, but I don't think if there was ever something about the goat's story?
So sorry that Kory is leaving, I'm sure he'd rather be at HPHS but I'm also sure everyone understands his decision. It will be tough to replace him, but it's great to see Haley & Carrie back. Sad about all the LAOK horses at the intake, glad that Dino will be OK and of course Jordan, so brave of him & Keith to jump in there to save him. I ❤that you reunited filly with its mum. Xxx
Woosha woosha wittle baby... soooo cute!! I hope it has a happy life.
Poor Dino, that had to be scary for everyone. I'm sorry Jordan got guet in the process. Thankfully, he was able to get them apart.
Best wishes to Cory, we'll miss you!!
I’ve been watching you guys for 2years now and I live in dc before I watched you I had no idea this was going on 😢
I pray Jordan recovers from his bite wound with no complications.
Happy ending for the baby! I'm glad she could go back to her mama!
Although I totally understand that things change and opportunities appear, it has truly broken my heart that Cory has left! 💔😞 I've cried more than usual bc of the horrific conditions of these horses! I'm so sorry for the loss and pray for each and every animal going thru such hard physical deterioration. Lots of prayer and love coming your way! ❤🐎❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻😪
We will miss Kory 😢
