Yeah, back in my old elementary school out gym teacher would sometimes bring ddr so if you didn't want to do the hoops or play jump rope you'd get in line for a chance to play.
Most kids always played funky town because it was the easiest song to do.

Lul, I remember that, only it wasn't at my school, but a YMCA summer thing. I remember we played DDR and everyone else was pretty bad at it. But I really wanted to get good at it, so I got OK at this song, but my strength was DoLL, man, That was my song.

It was made for an anime movie, but the movie was cancelled mid-production. Tatsh's best song (in my opinion), "IMAGE MATERIAL (Version 0)" was supposed to be the credits theme.

Such a masterpiece in the Dance Dance Revolution franchise, overshadowed by other songs. Even RedZone by the same artist gets more remixes & recognition. It's honestly saddening, but in recent years, this classic is slowly rising up in the charts. Will always return for more.
Hell yeah! We used to play DDR back in grade school and if you could get above an A on this ok higher difficulties, you were an absolute god. We were maybe 13 and on the verge of having heart attacks!

Imagine this while listening to the music. A composer playing a giant piano organ in a great hall between two large windows. As lighting is striking pasting by from both sides, the composer is playing to the beat with and against the light storm outside. His sweat did not distract him, the aching in his fingers will not stop him from playing. He keeps playing until he beats the storm because his playing out is soul. How I imagine a scene for this song.
Just played this song again on Challenge mode. It still holds up as a very difficult song in DDR and I love it. This song will never die. After all these years, it's still among the most amazing songs ever!
