Funny, as I’m watching this, it’s 33 degrees out here, I’m sitting on the tailgate of my truck, enjoying a cigar, and I have the double version of this keeping me nice and warm. I’ve had it for years, and it still works great. Thanks for sharing, be well my friend.

Here in Dover,PA. I'm so happy i just saw this video.I need to drain a tank and i dont have need for a grill. Now i know how to warm my shop to work in!
I have both the single and dual head heaters I use to heat my little shop. I always have my exhaust fan running and a fresh air opening when running them. Those CO2 headaches are nasty. I have what is called an "Elephant Trunk" for the single head that I often used for starting cold diesels in the bush. It is an 10 inch, insulated collapsible (horizontally) hose that fits about 6 inches from the head and it has a booster 12V fan (my design) to move the hot air. 10 minutes heating up a diesels intake (no air cleaner) and they usually start right up at -30C. Like you say old friend they can be dangerous and can start a fire in no time. They should never be left unattended. The trunk can be used to safely heat oil pans and hydraulic tanks. It is always good to see you my friend. Each post is one closer to move in day. Your castle awaits eh.
I have one like that for my hunting blind. It really works great. I’ve had it on a 20 lb tank for a couple years. You can sit in there with the windows open and still be warm. It’s so good, I bought another one at a garage sale for 10 bucks! I don’t even know what I will use it for but, 10 bucks? Sure
44.25 hours of run time on low setting, a little more than I expected. I have a Mr heater 38k BTU propane "jet" heater that blasts out the heat but is pretty noisy and runs about 9 hrs per tank.
Great video.. I use one of these all the time when doing home repairs.. I’m mostly there for a week and run the heater 4-5 hours a day … about 20 hours a week and still have half or more propane in the tank. Great video
I used mine in an apt during a 2 wk power outage with the door ajar for fresh air. Just long enough to warm the place and shut it off. Only took maybe half an hour in the morning and stayed warm most of the day. Worked great.
We use one burner on a triple for extra heat when it gets in the teens outside. It runs for 12 hours at a time and we get 48 to 50 hours out of a 20 lb. tank. It helps keep our 1700 sq. ft. home around 70 degrees all night long. No I would not use it in a car , van , tent or anything with a low ceiling due to the intense heat rising straight up from the burner shield. In a house with 8 foot ceilings or a workshop its not an issue. As for being well ventilated they make vent less blue flame wall heaters that can use the same 20 , 30 or 100 lb. propane tanks and condensation from burning propane is a bigger issue than CO2 or carbon monoxide.
This is good information. I was looking to buy 2 of these. Because here in Texas we had the Freeze Blast 2 years in a row. With the Electric Grid shut down. So you are saying I could use this in my home as long as I crack a window or 2?? Of course I'd probably use it 2 Hours at a time just to be on the safe side. What advice do you have??
You can figure out how long your propane tank will last without lighting the heater. Your heater uses 15,000 BTUs per hour at high setting (9,000 on low, 13,000 on medium). Divide that into the number of BTUs in your propane tank or bottle. That will tell you how many hours of heat you'll get. 1 gal of propane has 91,500 BTUs or 21,500 BTUs per lb. You'll get about 6 hrs of useable heat per gallon or 1.3 hrs of heat per lb of propane. Propane weighs 4.11 lb per gallon. Times will vary becasue the density of propane changes with temperature and sometimes the fuel amount varies as to who's filling the tank. On low setting, you should get about 38 hrs of useable heat.
I have both a single burner and a double burner. Use them in my (vary non air tight ) garage. Good simple heaters. Just use common sense , 1; they consume Oxygen and 2: they get INCREDIBLY hot and will burn or melt anything that gets too close. Also have a small 3,000 BTU unit that uses 1 LB tanks. GREAT in a pop up hunting blind or emergency. Ontario Canada .
I have two of these and they both catch fire down inside of it. I can't figure out why but don't walk away from one of these and leave it burning . I came back and it was cherry red all the way to the gas bottle screaming like a jet engine

I have a 20x20 non insulated garage with roof vents May I use the 3 station tank top Mr Heater with the door closed? I can crack the door but that sort of defeats the purpose
It would work 8 hours per day for emergency heat if the power is off (in Richmond, VA... sometimes the electricity is through old above ground lines and NOT in buried ones). Safer would be propane logs installed by a local pro to supplement or substitute for no power at all ...
Most flammable gasses, except maybe small tanks like the 1-LB green propane tanks, have a left hand thread. Only oxygen has right-handed threads, so it's impossible to cross them. I live in FL and it's new years eve 22/23 and at 9pm it's 75. We did just have our coldest week so far this year. We kept a window cracked and opened the front door about every 30 minutes to circulate in fresh air. I don't recall any headaches or anything. It was quite pleasant, actually. We considered putting it in the fireplace, but the heater on the tank was too tall. Actually, we would have burned wood if we had some. Our family has experience in using gas stoves in older home back before it was illegal to have a gas stove in a bedroom, so we knew about the fresh air thing.

Are these safe to use in a regular size camping trailer because I am experiencing every time I use mine headaches and nausea is it just a mind thing or is the gases actually causing me harm??
Do not use inside with out windows open make sure you're using a carbon monoxide detector.
The Mr Buddy Heater much safer
Don`t you have some sanding to do, hehe.
Lol I sure do thanks for watching Joe.
Why does a guy with a high, loud voice make a recording in an echo chamber? Man...
It's almost as if he's indoors where he filmed the video you just watched. You are extremely intelligent 😂😂😂😂
Echoes
You can use the little buddy heater inside .
Way better than this crappy 750 watt fanless radiant space heater I have. Hell my toaster warms the room up better.
Thanks for watching and the comment.
Yup they suck, waste of electricity
Put it higher then you breathe. It will snuff its self out before you.
Thanks for the comment.
Hmm. You say NOT to use it INDOORS, but your whole "Experiment" is INDOORS?!?!?!?!? You may say your work space is well Ventilated, But some may say:" Seeing is Believing" and the forgone conclusion is that most rooms if a window.
You don't have to listen to me you can use it wherever you want that's up to you. Thank you for the comment and watching.

Better believe I'm using it in my house with the Biden high energy prices...
Just be safe with it and have proper ventilation, thanks for watching.
Don’t know where you live but gas in Houston 2.40 a gallon. And you’re complaining. lol. Drill your own well. Process it. You save lots of money. Ps. Stock market almost at record highs. You’re complaining again? You should’ve invested all your money under your buddy. He’s only filed bankruptcy six times owing over 900 million invest like he does. Then you can file bankruptcy.
