Yeah, Like with Call of Duty they have guys monitoring game plays and banning people all over cheating and using bad language and all, surely we can get some way of reporting drivers doing it and then get them banned for 1 week depending on the incident, surely that will up the discipline on GT7

100% should be banned. So let's get this straight, 5 seconds for a ban worthy punt vs 1.5seconds for wall contact during a crash which already naturally penalizes someone at least 5 seconds. PD FIX YOUR PENALTY SYSTEM

I honestly hate the fact that you get guys doing that, ive got a wooden build rig with broken chair to try and build something for myself as I do racing for the love of it and take it serious, I have some streeams of my own with good races and then some where you get taken out. I look up to you Rory as I want to be as calm and good in driving as you do

I’ve had a bad run on GT7 recently, minding my own business and no drama, just to get punted and slammed when clearly overtaking people on straights. How do they keep their S safety rating??

i thought i never see ahr our leauge on here but well done to james for actually finishing in 3rd after all that and well done for not taking him out yeah ark is just one of those drivers like kimi and that and unfortunaly it was only a little tap anyone would do it sometimes but to go on a rampage and take him out that just not acceptible well done rory for showing this too in the end james and ahr had the last laugh and so did everyone in that lobby too haha that was mad wish i saw race on livestream cos a few chose words would of come out too also thank you to stardust too for gifting me a membership again much appricated as always ill see yous on monday hopefully with a bit less carnage

In a game that emphasizes clean driving and sportsmanship, the AI sure do race dirty as hell. Im really struggling to enjoy this game but the AI constantly screwing up my clean racing bonus is really killing it for me.

ive done similar but nothing to this extent ive punted someone once in a race bc they punted me multiple times in a race before and it was as defense bc he tried to punt me again but this is just next level LOL
I think you should definitely start a new series on here for the weekend "Dirty Drivers of the week"... Yes I know it may suck some of the viewership to the more toxic content, but a nice "release" from the stress of the work week would be nice lol

Arc and Kimi should just be banned, no questions asked, and never allowed to come back. No one would miss them.
In GT Sport, I had one guy punt me three times in one race. I then sacrificed my race to be a sacrificial lamb. I punted him gently once. He blew his lid and took me out 20 times. His sportsmanship rating dropped to E, and so, therefore, so did his driver rating. Never saw the guy in GT Sport again. :)

I get so fed up with crap drivers. I'm still learning and am currently a CS driver but I usually perform very well against the AI/Sophy and most times in the top 3 but when I get to Sport and qualify in the top 3, just about every time I get punted from behind. If these guys can't win by means other than dirty ones, yes they should receive harsher penalties.
At least at the A levels it seems most people are clean drivers. At B level there are people in there just to ruin races, it’s ridiculous and takes a lot of the fun out
Had a the same thing all week in B level races, went through 8/9 races where was rammed off each race like it was for fun, costly for me though as i dropped back to C level, but since just got back to B races
If that was real racing, they would have their licence revoked. The least PD could do for drivers like this is ban them for a week, and when they come back they are on a month long probation. A repeat offence in that period should then get a month ban.

Ive seen a similar thing once before on sport. But it was against everyone on the lobby. Bassically just trolling.
People like that should be permanently banned from sport mode. And in my opinion, the collision penalty in gt7 is really not strict enough. 4 or 5 seconds is not enough, the penalty should be more like 8 to 9 seconds.

@@thespochanal2 yep, James did everything right, dont know why Garda decided that james needed taken out twice when James didnt gain the position in matter of fact he lost positions because of his mistake and did seem that james hung off to let Garda by in the first incident. so its absolute dirty driving on Garda's part

In all seriousness PD need to act on stuff like this, they need to be proactively banning players that do this, just a complete ban from online play.
Damage or penalty needs to be worse for offender.
More reasons why there should be a race moderator in each online session, to act as race marshal so that people can be issued the correct penalties and perhaps even kicked from races when it's clear they have malicious intent. Going out of your way to ruin the fun of others is just selfish and a pointless exercise because it surely can't make their day any better, especially when it ends like that 😂

Would having actual damage in GT7 that would effectively end your race lessen the frequency of this behavior? It's clear that Polyphony have no intention of penalizing this sort of thing, so what do you do? Just permanently ghost drivers like this?
You can turn on real damage. The settings have to reflect what you want.
Atleast there’s a penalty system if you ever played a game like F1 or any forza game it’s much worse lol. Usually these things happen cause players out brake themselves in the first couple of corners cause they don’t know how to race wheel to wheel so they accidentally punt one guy and he takes it as a personal assault on his very being and begins to take out everyone in site. It’s not always the case since there’s legit some terrible drivers online but it could be always be worse….

In GT7 once your car spins, there is no way for you to recover, at least in Forza i have the control to recover from the spin if it ever happens
Also Gt7 can be a deck & penalize you for nothing, but both games still have an awful online, i'm glad that i don't bother with online racing at all, i prefer single player for those reasons alone
@@uhm175 yeah I kinda agree on that lol almost all racing games have terrible online lobbies, but every now and then you do get some good clean races. Personally I don’t let spin outs bother me much I try to just keep going and doing the best I can, tho I understand the frustration of being in a podium position and getting taken out but what can you really do in that situation? The guy that spun you out probably had a bad day at work or maybe something happened so now a podium might change their mood or something idk lol I just try not to think about my finishing position I, I just focus on finishing the race lol

This is why I stopped playing Gran Turismo. it's just partly the game, it's the community that abuses it's physics. For all serious simmers out there on console, go play acc if you want reasonable open lobbies.
