I really like these videos the deck logs from uss slater however uneventful it shows every day life at sea in the navy from captains courts to gun practice it really brings the ship to life. during ww2 most of the sailors were late teens mid twenties really just kids. They put thier lives on the line for our freedom whether on covoy duties or in the thick of battle. true heros
