The yfz has very stiff suspension and its not a comfortable atv not even close to the raptor comfortable soft suspension and the king of comfort and softness in Yamaha atvs is the bannshe to bad they don't make it any more had all 3 of them and a long period experience with them i don't think so what you said is the fact maybe you didn't ride them in every condition and didn't live with them for many years like i did. Long story short is yfz is made for racing really good in turning and responsive terrible in comfort and seat is almost flat also not a nice thing and the exhaust heat is insane don't want to use it for that only the raptor is pretty nice it's a do it all kind of atv good for everything you want from an atv and more the thing i hate about it is how light the steering handle is also sounds terrible with stock exhaust. the banshee is the king of all ATVs ever made in my opinion its so damn comfortable and fast and cheap to buy and maintain you have to have an aftermarket exhaust and headers and air filter on it ( don't go for the pro circuit ones t5 and t6 and what ever to damn loud and bad over all sound) my favorite choice is ( HMF) not (FMF) headers and what ever exhaust you want makes it breath and feels like you added an extra engine to it from how much faster these 3 modifications makes. the stock once are trash an really chokes it biggest problem Yamaha stopped selling them since 2011 i believe so that people buy the x2 price yfz and the ×3 price raptor any thing else they would say is not true. If it wasn't the greatest it wouldn't be made for around 40 years and the only 2 updates i know of is front got A arms and rear tail light changed shape. had 5 of them and will get another one for sure.
Im an dirt bike/atv/street bike lover and was lucky enough to almost every nice one from all manufacturers new and old the only one i couldn't get my hands on is Suzuki ltz500. My all time favorites are: (i also do street riding with them) Yamaha banshee for ATVs especially the 2008 and 2011 colors no difference between them what so ever only colors. Honda crf450 2003-2008 for dirt bikes alot of cons with it especially its not fule injected but that generation is larger and looks like a beast compared with all other dirt bikes. Suzuki Hayabusa 2008-2020 for street bikes best stupid fast bike for street riding very bad for track racing and wheeling get a gsxr1000 or ninja 1000 or r1 or bmw s1000 for that. Note that i had all of what's mentioned above and many more and still have some of them till now

@@anas_daas i agree with you the banshee has the most comfortable seat and with the the right mods are crazy fast.

Yamaha has definitely gained my lifelong support not only because I love my YFZ but because they continue to keep the sport alive. I’d love to see some updates to the YFZ but what I really think would help revitalize the market would be a banshee with 2022 updates, they would fly out of dealership doors so fast!

I was on the fence between getting the 21 YFZ 450R special edition and the Raptor 700R special edition and I do nothing but woods and trail riding with a little bit of Dunes in my area so I opted for the Raptor and it was the best decision I made I absolutely love this thing the suspension and seat is nice and soft out of the box it was setup exactly what it was designed to do and that's to be king of the trail quads absolutely love the torque aswell I have the big 3 and I just lug it all around in third gear and what really set it off for me was just having the option for reverse you never know how much you need it till you have to use it

I wanted the 450 so bad but yamaha has no integrity anymore. The yfz450 is known for the clutch basket exploding yet yamaha doesn’t do anything to fix it. The weekend warrior doesn’t wanna pay 12000$ for a quad then have to worry about replacing the clutch right off the showroom floor. If your racing it then your probably already replacing the clutch anyways but I ended up going for the 2020 raptor 700. its a blast but it is top heavy in the corners but it fits me just fine.

@@HeavyChevy158 I agree 100% owning something brand new that you have bought the only you have had your hands in is a beautiful beautiful thing, being able to keep records that you yourself have personally done with maintenance and modifications is the best thing about it. Other than it’s brand new and you get to stare at and ride something you worked your ass off to be able to afford and enjoy!🤙🏼❤️

want to save Yamaha? stop buying them until all the bean counters are out, and since we are talking about cleaning the house, the team that said that was a good idea to slap that cancer cp engine in half of the product line should also be sacked
