Nice car. I noticed the emblems are still for a 396. So what gears does it have? When I was in HS, I replaced my 250 6 with a 327 pulled out of a Corvette. Lots of fun to drive and was super fast off the line because I still had my 6-cylinder 3-speed on-the-column transmission.
I was 16 years-old in 1966 and I loved these Chevy Chevelle's. The white lettered tires and Cragar Super Sport mag wheels bring back memories of my 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air. BTW...I had a horn button like that one, and a similar steering wheel in my '56.
Back in the mid 70's I had a friend I worked with that actually owned two of them. One had a 350 and he drove it to work daily. The other has this engine in it and he used it for drag racing. It had the big L60 series tires on back. Cool cars.
I've never been a fan of white vehicles but after seeing this 67' Chevelle that may change. Immaculate vehicle for the price cheers to the new owner and thank you Nick for sharing 🏁
Brings back memories for me. Drug it from a junkyard in Phenix, true SS 66. This was in 86, I lost it to fire in 2011. Busted many taillights in the beast, until I got married. It was white with American racing wheels 50s in the back, runners on the front.
YEEEHAAAAW! What a fun and beautiful car. Looks to have been rotisserie restored but lots of little paint flaws. I can't believe you were able to keep your foot out of it. Just missing a lumpy cam and tach and oh ya-bolt those seats down!
Very mint chocolate 66 Chevelle with Muncie 4 speed transmission & vert squeaky belt my father had 66 Chevelle blue with black vinyl top 396 had Chevy heavy sound first crank wayy before I was born.
Beautiful Chevelle Nick..one of the cleanest I've seen on your site. Couple minor flaws but overall very nice. Can't believe that they didn't bolt those seats down..Lol.😅 Thanks Nick, have a good week.
Then again can't nobody make a great car review video like you Mr Nick Southgate I'll just watch but I would love a side job like this for extra cash 😅
White lightning strikes from hendersonville tennese, cool car color stunning 😎 powerfull and big thanks Nick stay cool great video and music 🤟 😊 😊 😊 thanks from tom
Never heard of a clutch squeak before. Is that a thing? I've heard belts squeak like that many times and a spray of belt dressing usually fixes that. Wow that thing sure is clean underneath. Did previous owner do a frame off rotisserie restore? Love this car, and happy to see in should great shape. Pity about the white paint, just never went for white cars.
@@hellkitty7762 But he's not. I JUST picked up my numbers matching 66 Chevelle SS (138 car) w/ 396 and 12bolt posi for $35k in PRICEY southern CA. This is a dealer car, priced well above market (they gotta make that profit).
That is the cleanest undercarriage of any car you have ever shown us!
That's a great engine in that 1966 Chevelle 454 with 4 speed what else can you ask for great car I love it 👍
One of the prettiest designs ever, nice sounding not too loud and good power.. sigh.
8 miles per gallon and I don't give a rats ass. This car is awesome and my fav Chevelle body style.
Wow what a beautiful ride,454 with a 4 speed in a 66 Chevelle,it don't get any better 👍 Nick sweet ride 🔥
I agree Gary!

There is less wrong underneath the car. Nice clean Chevelle!
I have a 95 Silverado with a 454.
I still haven't found the top end yet.
Love that mill.

66 amd 67 my favorite years for the Chevelle. This one is definitely worth the price!!

It's a 66 not 67
The "slack" in the wheel makes for comfortable straight driving.😊

Wow what a sexy beast! 454 big block with a holly carb under the hood! Pure 🇺🇸 muscle! This Chavelle must be pushing at least 400 HP
Nick, you need to add another “does the horn work?” Segment but call it, “does it do a burnout?”
Love the 66' Chevelle 4-spd. She looks awesome!!
Now that is ICE 🥶 COLD BABY
Looks great but for 47 grand it should have all new metal quarters ,doors ,fenders and you have a lot of rust bubbling through
And needs a 12 bolt rearend.....that 8.2 10 bolt want last long dogging it!
This car has the cleanest undercarriage I've ever seen!
🎉 😉 🤓 👀 👁 😎 💯 💯 💯 😎 👁 👀 🤓 😉 🎉
I was going to comment the same thing
Frame off 🔂 ?
Sweet 66! Very clean! A nice cam and a set of aluminum heads would make this Chevelle a monster!
Drooling like homer over here🤤🤌🏼 beautiful!

Wow they painted underneath the car 🚗 someone put money 💰into this car 🚗

Had one . A rag though, series 2 -454 ,465 hp . Used to chew rear-ends
what a beautiful car. the things so clean underneath you could darn near eat off the under carriage.
Man you just cant escape those rust bubbles at the bottom of the doors on these old rides.
That's a nice one Nick. Should be an easy sell.
Beautiful Chevelle!
Nice chevelle 454 amazing sound👍
Those old muscle cars sure do look good in white with a 4 speed. Great video Nick
So many great comments here and I agree with everyone that said so. Nice Chevelle !!
The most important view (under carriage) looks super clean. nice one Nick. 454 4 speed? not gonna last long.
I remember when you could bye a used one, while I was in high school, for 500 bucks.
Beautiful Chevelle Nick..one of the cleanest I've seen on your site. Couple minor flaws but overall very nice. Can't believe that they didn't bolt those seats down..Lol.😅 Thanks Nick, have a good week.
This car should be in a Museum It's that nice
On rear emblem is SS 396. Under hood 454. Side emblems 396.
I wanna go fast. I wanna go fast but you didn't go fast. Beautiful care and undercarriage.
cant belive they didnt run the tail pipes behind the bk tiers buts its sharp car.

@@rcktshp4535 Learned something. Thank you
Man thats one clean Chevelle, NICE!!!
WOW, a true dream machine!
Although this Chevelle is in great shape the price seems pretty high for a non-numbers/clone car. I would've expected to see this one for $32-40k.
You're a decade behind then.
Unless you know a good divorce lawyer i cant buy anymore cars lol
@@hellkitty7762 would you pay $48k for this car?
@doubledave7451 Question is, do i want 66 Chevelle?

Really nice Chevelle but it sounds like it needs a new throwout bearing. Easy fix.
She's a beaut!
Nice!!! 👍👍
Pretty cool.
What a BEAST!
Truck looks like it has a line lock for the front brakes to do a burn out rear wheels.
Very nice
Still like the 427 with 600 HP, gold one from 3 years ago, just a little bit better. Both beautiful cars
Notice there’s no stupid oversized wheels ,,,,,,gorgeous car

We wanna see that gas guage again, after 1 lap around the block 😅
Beautiful bigblock Chevelle 😊
Great episode. Love the Chevelle SS.👍

Does the VIN say SS or is this a dressed up Chevelle? It’s really really nice either way.
I really want some information. I’m not shopping for a heart response.
