Back in 2022 when btc was at its cycle low, people where saying btc is done for it's going below $15k US it's going to zero. Well it's down 10% from mid March ath 2024 and now everyone is shitting themselves. That doesn't make any logical sense especially for crypto. Its just a shake out phase, chill people go zoom out at old charts. We are at around 1.4 trillion market cap and only growing, just wait and see the price next year in March it will double....I've been engaged in active trading and managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3Bitcoin to a decent 24Bitcoin....I'm especially grateful to Renee Gilman, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

    Things to Love:
The Bruins got much bigger, faster, physical and nastier on the the 4th line not too mention on their back end and there's no doubt they are a better team now than they were last year
Zadorov will make the Bruins bigger and tougher to play against while also giving them the best Top 6 depth on defense in the NHL (objectively) while also allowing Lohrei to have some pressure taken off of him as he develops further
Elias Lindholm will also make the Bruins tougher to play against, he’s a legit Top 6 center and he’s arrival also likely means they’ll get more out of both David Pastrnak and Pavel Zacha next season
    Things not to Love:
Elias Lindholm only scored 6, 5x5 goals last year between Calgary and Vancouver and the past two seasons both his high level numbers and his advanced metrics haven’t exactly been on the right side of “great”, in fact they’ve kind of just been in the realm of “barely good enough”
Again, I love Lindholm but in terms of their overall Top 6 scoring talent it’s hard to really say that they improved very much by just adding Lindholm and subtracting Debrusk
    Adds: Elias Lindholm
    Subtracts: Jake Debrusk
The last two seasons combined Jake Debrusk has scored 46 goals. Lindholm, 37
Anything else as of right now in their top 6? Um, nope
So again Bruins Homers before you start in
I like Lindholm and he’ll make them better while also helping them to get more out of both Pasta and Zacha. 100% agree with this sentiment
However, he’s not an elite 1c or high end scoring threat (note he’s two elite years were with Tkachuk & Gradeau, so…) and he’s been declining, not ascending from a scoring perspective two years running
    AND
No one on planet earth could say with a straight face that the Boston Bruins got infinitely better in terms of their overall Top 6 scoring depth with their moves today by simply swapping out Debrusk’s offense for Lindholm’s
And no homers, I’m not saying Lindholm is a Debrusk replacement.
They moved one Top 6 wing scorer for a Top 6 center scorer. That’s not exponentially improving theie overall Top 6 scoring problem.
They moved out Jake Debrusk’s offense in the Top 6 for Elias Lindholm’s offense in the Top 6
A guy who scored 6, 5x5 goals last year in a full time NHL role while he played with good players in all situations
Also, the term on Zadorov’s contract is kind of puke inducing but the Cap will go up and that’s just a problem Don Sweeney will have to deal with in 2032 or something because odds are, he’s still going to be GM #yikes
It seems as though the Bruins still know that they have to improve in their Top 6 and it sure seems like some other kind of move is coming
I can’t believe they are either going to slot Frederic or Geekie into a Top role, again replicating the problem Sweeney can’t get away from (i.e. playing bottom 6 guys in Top 6 roles)
Or that they are counting on wild cards like Merkulov or Lysell being their 2RW out of camp, which again, seems like it’s not even close to a real option because Merkulov is not a Top 6 NHL player and all of the reports out of PVD from credible sources indicated Lysell isn't going to be ready to be a full time Top 6 player this coming year in Boston
I think another move is coming. I pray another move is coming
The Bruins got better in a lot of areas today, there is not doubt about that. However, They still haven’t done enough to address their overall Top 6 scoring needs because they subtracted one Top 6 player to only add another without doing anything else in the Top 6
Plenty of time left in the off season though…. Let’s hope Don Sweeney can get figure it out
They can also always address a Top 6 wing at the trade deadline next year if whatever Plan A they decide to go with to start the season ends up imploding
So there’s always that to consider as well, although this process of not building through the draft and constantly trading away draft picks is only becoming more and more of a long term problem

And what was everyone asking during the last series against FLA? Is McAvoy hurt? And he was not. What happened? Consider that someone played the Belichikian system against the Bruins and said beat us without McAvoy and Pasta. OK, now pair him with Zadora who has Charlie's back defensively and physically. Now, ask yourself what that adds. In addition, you have two more d-men (Lindholm and Lohrei) who can move the puck out with two more defensive big guys. Get it? Those are very good pairings.

    • @mrsades6145
      @mrsades6145 3 месяца назад

First of all he has no trade clause. Second he is the best player by a mile when it comes to the offence on the team therefore he will be targeted more just like in this playoffs. Also he is quite cheap for what he brings especially when the cap is going up - on free market he would be around 13 mil at the very minimum. Lastly you do not trade franchise players in their prime unless you have a trade of the century on your hands.

I cannot fucking believe it, AT ALL. I agree almost totally. You idiots got it right, I am genuinely extremely fucking surprised. I agree 100% I think. I really hesitate to type that, but I think I agree with y'all.
On Lindholm: Every team he has played for has desperately tried to retain him. Look at the basic analytics and it's obvious the Bruins just got a HUGE boost. Lindholm is ~80 pt/season player if he is playing with players who can either equal or boost his game. When he played w/ Tkachuck, he was amazing. When he was moved up in the playoffs w/ Vancouver, he was amazing. He will be playing with Pastrnak and Zacha. His pts will probably be boosted, and tbh, he will also likely be the best center Zacha has ever, or ever will, play with. I am (optimistically) hoping for a 60-70 pt season from Zacha, a 70-80 pt season from Lindholm, and a 100+ pt season from Pastrnak
On Zadorov: Yes we needed some bite, and some blood on the blue line, McAvoy is the first pairing, #1 defenseman. He is not a trainer. He should not be making up for typical rookie mistakes. Pairing him with Lohrei down the road might be the way to go, but right now, Lohrei is still learning. He doesn't need to be the dude we rely on in matchups against fucking McDavid or Tkachuck. Zadorov is going to make those guys look twice every two seconds. Giving McAvoy someone who can help defend against McDavid and Tkachuck is going to significantly help us survive those fucking Florida series. To be honest, I think it's also time we bring Lysell up. I agree that DeBrusk wasn't willing to game all the time. Dude was sick when the motor was running. The motor ran twice a year. Naw, bye bye. Thank you for the playoffs performance! Enjoy Vancouver. I am glad we invested in Zadorov instead. He also had a bunch of pts in the recent playoffs.
Florida got worse. I genuinely think that depending on the Zacha - Lindholm - Pastrnak chemistry, we could be contenders. It may also sort of depend on Lysell coming up and not sucking though so who knows!
Question got y'all: in the NHL, and other sports, being a rat is a useful skill. There is an art to toeing the line.Being able to draw penalties without getting one yourself is a fucking art that Marchand is the utter champion of. Marchand will retire in the not-too-distant future. What is Lysell's rat-king ceiling potential? Do ye believe that Lysell has the finesse to draw penalties and the intellect to not crossing the wrong line at the wrong time?

Mazz is a baseball guy. I think Felger just asks for his take because he has to.

Kudos to these clowns talking hockey but in the end they have a limited knowledge base of the game, the culture, the intricacies and the intangibles that permeate that sport. They are constantly trying to make metaphors to the other sports to find footing talking about hockey.

    Mark my words.
Lindholm will be a buyout in 3 years.
3C at best on a contender.
Zadorov is a beast but never in the top 4 in his career.
Bruins fans will love Z and hate L

Yup like the D man finally someone to actually can fight & win & great a great hitter they needed this since St. Louis loss it could’ve helped steal that cup.Lucic heartbreaking but Sweeney’s attempts at trade deadline recently trying to add toughness that they should’ve started those seasons with a player that other teams fear because we’ve had nobody when you have Marchand bergi frigging kerchief are dropping the minutes THATS always a fail!GREAT REGULAR SEASON TEAM BECAUSE THEY PLAY HARD EVERY GAME AND OUT WORK TEAMS RIGHT UP TO THE PLAYOFFS AND THEY ENTER THESE PLAYOFFS EVERY YEAR WITH BERGERON SND HALF THE SKILLED PLAYERS ARE HALF DEAD AND HAVING TINY D ESPECIALLY GRYZ GETS PTSD IN THE PLAYOFFS AND IS SCARED TO DEATH TO GET A PUCK IN THE CORNER OR BEHIND THE NET whoops didn’t realize caps on 😮We have to many soft players since Sweeney has run this team. But you can get a player like Lucic ,Or a tough guy who keeps other teams honest give credit to freddi but he’s not scaring anyone and he’s no match for heavyweights and trade deadline moves is just stupid it costs way to much in draft capital this team idc has a horrible prospect pool and Sweeney should’ve got creative make 3 team deal for an impact player in the offseason and I don’t like his drafts will see this years draft pans out but generally forever picking undersized soft players and putting guys with size but nothing more than a tomato can forbort type on D and pretty much 5 out of the bottom six that are soft I know it’s not the 70’-2011 but he went way to small for years and all it did was get great regular season hard working well coached team and choke .Neely said a few years ago he has no idea why our team gets a ton of concussions (Carlo) and injuries and I LOVED NEELY and that comment from a former player like him shocked me! ITS BECAUSE THEY ARE SOFT AND TEAMS TAKE RUNS AT THEM ALL YEAR LONG !CHARA’s JAW BROKE I KNEW THEYD LOSE! Miss players like Adam mquaid that these 2 bozo’s 24:7 back then they need to get rid this guy and it’s not 2011 anymore when Sweeney took over we don’t need size we need speed crap the B’s went way towards the pussy end of toughness
