Pain wise I would say it's most to least is: external fixator like ring fixator then monolateral external fixator then internal lengthening nails Precice and Stryde
I’ll share with you why I chose the betzbone over the precise: If everything runs well with precise, all the info showed in the video is accurate. BUT, the internal electronic mechanism inside the nail comes with a risk: the motor needs to have metals prone to rust. It has happened that (because of for example, pressure change in a plane) blood and other fluids get inside the nail despite the seal and that derives in an infection inside the bone. So, you can imagine, that could turn very nasty. That risk is not present in the betzbone given that the whole nail is made from only one stainless metal and the distraction is purely mechanical. It is true that clicks can be activated by accident, but as long as you keep record of it and balance it on the other leg, it is as much as precise than the precise (no pun intended xD). And it is less expensive. Cheers! :)
@@Cyborg4Life could you please make a video about betzbone since stryde nail has been recalled, the betzbone nail is the only full weight bearing nail at the moment.
