As a non-binary bi-romantic person, it's important to me to explain to people why these headcanons are a bit problematic. The bi in bisexual means two, but the meaning behind it is supposed to be attraction to both genders *like* and *unlike* your own, not just to men and women. For some reason, many people who aren't bi (and usually aren't trans either) believe that excludes trans and non-binary people, which is completely ignoring the fact that there are trans and non-binary bisexual people. My problem with the headcanon is the fact it's based on the fact she dated a non-binary person, like you need to be pan to love someone who's non-binary. People of all sexualities can be attracted to and date non-binary people, even straight people.
Honestly my head cannon about hunter is while he was being made as a grimwalker, his genes got messed up in some way and he ended up being biologically a girl instead of the original bio man caleb. it just made sense that he was trans, because he was a replica of a bio man. I don't think Hunter being trans would work. I know people like to headcanon artificial beings or shapeshifters as trans or agender or genderfluid, but Hunter was quite literally created in the image of a male character and has never been shown thinking otherwise about his gender identity. Personally I think Raine could be trans male though.
