A pity that Harry saw himself as a Spare. His life was amazing: world cup finals best seats and meeting the players; people writing your speeches, loads of friends, top notch healthcare, chauffeur driven, charities of choice; skiing at great resorts etc and no responsibilities like his brother has. A lesson to us all: be grateful what you've got rather than thinking the grass is greener elsewhere.
I've thought the same thing. He could have had his choice of women, married someone way above his match. He could have studied at a university of his choice. He could have lived a life of luxury, instead, he's his wife's employee. The fact he thought his life was bad, shows how naive and isolated he really is.

I must admit I used to find it incredible that the majority of people initially supported Meghan and “loved” the fact she was marrying Harry and joining the royal family.
I never particularly warmed to her as I found her obnoxious and disrespectful.
Even right at the beginning. As soon as I saw her and her behaviour for myself I was never confused or somehow “seduced” by her.
She was the unknown and the one who people weren’t aware of. It was simply accepted that Harry was the higher status of the pair and it wasn’t anything to do with sexism, so when she wouldn’t let him answer questions that weren’t specifically directed at her, I found her behaviour more arrogant than confident.
And this was right back at the engagement interview.
I’m not saying she had to defer to him to be submissive, it just would have been respectful, especially considering he had the fame and notoriety so it was just assumed she might dial back the assertiveness.
I thought then and still do, that she’s rude and egotistical amd basically she’s just proving me right more and more every day and every merching attempt and every attention grab.
Like you I can’t believe more people didn’t see through her or at least admit that they weren’t totally sold and did perceive her overt narcissism, however minor.
Why do people feel sorry for Harry after everything he has done? He is a willing participant in that marriage. It is also possible that he is being blackmailed by she and Doria.
