Time to recheck it bro or something if wrong with ya card.. 8200 is awesome! BEST KEPT SECRET in this GPU crisis....

Between supply chain issues of various reasons (like Taiwan having an extended drought which is under water restrictions affecting silicon wafer production) and the cryptocurrency boom again due to COVID, it's game over for now. You can't even find a used Nvidia GTX-1xxx or 2xxx on the used market without the seller asking an outrageous price. Hell we can't even get our hands on a 5th generation console four months after release which is unheard of in console history! I've written this year off entirely for building a new gaming PC and will now wait for the RTX 4-series to come out. By then let's hope that 1) cryptocurrency crashes and 2) the tech supply chain is restored to at least near normal. That said, I'm eyeballing one of these which I found for sale as a back pocket option should neither occur. My Covid relief/stimulus check coming may be too good to resist snapping it up and building. That said, great review and great site!
@@RCsFinest - It does work for gaming but it is a far lower tiered gaming card in performance for gaming for the cost because the architecture is not designed to maximize frame rates in game engines like a gaming GPU. I have decided to get in line for a pre-built with an RTX 3080 for about $3K USD and be done with it (and deal with cheaper internal components I would never choose). I kept hoping to get my hands on an XB or PS5 but those are MIA too. F-it. This is the absolute worst gaming hardware situation we've ever dealt with in my 25+ years of building gaming PCs and buying consoles!
I've bought the wx5100 and with my R7 3700x is doing pretty well, I have managed to play many games at more than 100 fps in high graphics also im a graphic designer and work with 3D models this GPU is awesome. Also, im triying to get a Quadro from 2014, just for fun due to price (90$). (Im not eng speaking)

I have a Vega 56 MSI AirBoost OC that's given me LOTS of problems with most AMD gaming drivers. I was getting a black screen, 100% fan ramp, system freezes requiring a hard reset so many times... I resorted to installing Pro drivers intended for WX 8200 cards, and my issues vanished! Except on CoD: Warzone I now have graphical glitches that look like I'm playing on acid! Will these drivers work for me?
I wanna try this so badly on my rig. I have an Asus Tuf Gaming x570 plus with a Ryzen 9 3950x I'm sure this thing would go bonkers. It has a lot of cpu to chew up before it bottlenecks.
You might have a bottleneck limiting performance... The 9100 is an overkill card for gaming... Try running it with a newer MOB, and CPU (try with and AMD CPU also)
The card got really hot during our preliminary testing. Uncapping the frames would have kept the gpu at unsustainable temperatures that would have eventually fried the card. In short, we didn't want to share/recommend settings that were going to fry out our community members gpu's.

I use it for editing. It works very fast with raw footage and Prores. Also gets me a flat 120fps in fortnite and Overwatch. It can connect it to a macbook via thunderbolt 3. It works pretty dang well like that. Right now I have it connected with Ryzen 12 core and 32gb of ram on an asus tufgaming board...does that sound good? Or does anyone know of a better CPU to pair it with or does it even matter?

@@ReganMarcelis W5700 is newer, it's based on the RDNA 1 architecture and 8200 is Vega. There's now the option for W6600 which is RDNA 2.

Yes, you'd most likely see a nice jump in FPS with your configuration.

The S20 is very similar to a Precision T3500 or HP Z400. Have you upgraded your power supply?

A ryzen 9 3900x 12 core is a great gaming cpu, you'd see more performance uplift by lowering graphics settings or by getting a better gpu

That's painful. You'll have to tweak the settings for better performance. Also, check out the quadro experience to try and optimize that game.

We did uncap the FPS initially and the card got really hot.
That clock speed 🤮 these pro cards are locked down on the Windows Driver. Don't expect to overclock the card to get the performance back.
