The only thing that I think Mimic would benefit in this situation is to copy Roxane’s memories and her “mind data” so that he can mimic her better next time. Because the last time it tried to do that and failed. So I think it is installing that USB and copy the data to avoid the failures from happening again
I feel like she would have most destroyed the minic but in the game ruin DLC she died basically by the mimic because I don't think she would have let the mimic pass. So yes I agree with you here but she does in the DLC.
