Txs for sharing! Looks like a lot of (virtual) hardware per site. Is there a reason why you don't want to connect you different ISP's directly to the Silverpeak appliances? It would eliminate a lot of SPOF's I suppose. But I wonder if Silverpeak supports the necessary WAN protocols for this...
EVE-NG is an emulator very much like GNS3 only from what I understand, better. I'm not really able to comment on the differences between them. Its been years since I used GNS3 and I understand I think it has come a long way as well. I could have done all of this in vmware but where EVE-NG played a role is in later videos where I'm able to invoke Loss/Latency/Jitter/Etc. on the links to show how Silver Peak handles that.
I think the sky is the limit here. The SilverPeak would pass the SIP traffic not differently than the firewall. SilverPeak does have fire walling built in and now with additional license IPS/IDS. I don't think I'd say it could displace an FTD/Palo with their feature set but from a WAN edge appliance there would be no issue to bring the SIP in via the SilverPeak.
@@WINGSOFFIRE27 @chettahmohamed1278 That is the hard part. Short of buying it there isn't a way to get demo licensing that I'm aware of. As I stated in the videos I received this as part of a partner.
Nice lab Brian, I am now learning silverPeak myself and this is a great guide for me.
Excellent video. Thank you for taking the time to make this.
Glad you enjoyed it!

It's just a lab. Most of the "fluff" was put in place so I could insert delay/jitter/etc. in Eve-ng.
Thanks for the effort. I am having a hard time looking for a Aruba SD-WAN training, even for the essentials.
You're welcome!! Hope it helped!
Good explanation. What are you using to run the lab ? Is it something like GNS3 ?
I talk about it in the first video but essentially Orchestrator is on VMware and the rest is in EVE-NG.
@@brianstamper Thanks. I misundrstood EVE-NG was justa traffic generator at first. Clear now.

what do you mean by "public wak?
in my senerio firewall have 3 SIP connections where i can deploy Sliver peek. behind the firewall or can i remove the firewall.
