If having an issue with the car bunny hopping/jolting when taking off from a stopping. Was advised this is a transmission related issue, do you have any ideas on little things we can fix or look at to try and diagnose the issue
Thanks for your video, I’m having problems with the mass air flow sensor, but before I replace the sensor, I’m trying to find the fuses for the MAF sensor. I’ve know where the fuse boxes are, but I don’t know which fuse to check for the MAF sensor! Can you help! Cheers. I’m in Australia!
Morning mate, just asking is it worth it to buy the LTZ Diesel, 2015 Holden Captiva 7 LTZ CG Auto AWD MY15? Done 90000 Km, fully serviced, would there be a major service coming up or is there really any major issues with this year/model, cheers Ian
I think they are good value for money, most major issues occur on cars with more than 200k on them. I have only done about 4k since buying mine 7 months ago and I have had no issues so far. I'm at 64k. There are some owners saying that transmissions fail, but regular servicing replacing transmission fluid should prolong the life.
Hi there. I have a light that came on today. It says a vehicle with a spanner inside it. The manual says it’s the SVS LIGHT. can you help me with what this might mean. Cheers.
Service manual says automatic trans 6T45 in Captivas has lifetime fluid, but it has 60,000 kms fluid change interval ! Failing to do so causes major damage to transmission at low mileage. Same applies to rear differential and transfer case on 4x4 models, for which you should also replace fluids frequently ! There is never a lifetime fill.
DO NOT use WD-40 On the door hinges!! Use an appropriate lubricant, not a water dispersant. Lithium grease would be more suitable, WD-40 is too light and too thin to be of any benefit.

do you think 750 kg ramps would be ok for a captiva? they are 1.8 ton so i assume you divide that by 4?
Most car ramps and also axle stands are rated for at least 2000kg, I would suggest spending a bit more money and get the heavy duty ramps.

Any chance you can show how to remove sun visor?
I had a look at the visor, there are no screws, it looks like the clip that holds it in would just pull out, but do it slowly so you don't snap it.
Can you give me référence of injector and there Flow rate please
Sorry I have no information about flow rates.
