Hi there, just a comment for those who amy want this tie to be a bit easier, this tie is simply the equivalent of tying a regular Windsor knot with the tie beginning on the flip side, rather than the front, and then flipping again to wear
Legend has it, if you look into a mirror and chant the word "alright" three times he will appear behind you and give you tips on how to tie the perfect Merovingian knot.
I remember the Merovingian, he used a special knot, but I remember that he used the tie of the same color of the shirt. My question is: is that a good thing or do we need the contrast? I am just wondering, because my style journey is just beginning.
My response to you as someone who was married to a man who loved to tie different kinds of knots for his ties and wear them with different shirts and different looks, is to do whatever pleases you. Try different looks whether contrasting or matchy-matchy and see what you come up with. You'll find your look and you'll know it. My late husband's favourite (and mine) was the Eldridge. However if he were still here, I know he'd want to try this one, neither one of us had ever seen this before. Thank you to the channel owner and Matthew McConaughey for the instruction!
They forgot to mention the first step, flip the tie over with the seam facing up. If you know how to tie a double Windsor knot, it the same thing tied with the seam facing upwards, flipped over. In other words, start with the seam facing upwards, tie a double Windsor knot, then lift tie over your head flip it over and put back on
@@inblack-d9d make a half windsor take it off carefully so as not to dismantle it and look at the back side of it. the only difference is the side of the tie.
okay so I cant unhear this any more and now for every one else looking to tie this knot, the narrator sounds like Matthew McConaughey.
I swear other videos gave me stress but this voice ligit made me get it in 2 tries. Thank you!
really enjoyed this. forgot how to tie this, kept doing it with the tie turned over.
excellent.
First time tying a tie, using this for my confirmation!
This was really helpful, I am a nerd and I want to display it with my style
I got positive comments on campus yesterday about this knot. I wonder if I can find longer ties for the Merovingian knot.
Thanks for this how-to, and especially thank you to Matthew McConaughey for jumping in with the voiceover! 💜😊
Very good explanation thank you for this 😊❤
I guess I need to get some looooong ties.
When I first saw this knot I thought that it would be the hardest thing ever but it’s not that bad
Thank u i did it

@@ZainaDancer thank you
I would personally only wear this with a vest, the knot looks great but the short and of the tie left in the middle doesn't, the vest would cover that
Stupidly well explained, main looks like if have done it lots of times of how good it looks

Don’t do this with your school tie unless you want your pt teacher to hate you
Матрица ?)))Меровинги это одна из французских королевских династий .Но вам простительно ,если вы американец )))
Weird Matthew McConaughey impression if I’m being honest.
Como eres bastante joven porque no pones una buena corbata normal unicolor
I mean no disrespect.

@@jesseturner9865 Im ok with the half windsor, but as for the full windsor Im not
