37% of celeste players have climbed celeste mountain, but only 7(.7)% beat farewell. only 0.5% less have beaten every c side, but only 5% have the strawberry in farewell, i don't even wanna know how rare every golden is

while you were doing path of pain i was like "HUHHH!?!?!?!" when people said "this is ALMOST celeste difficulty", and now I see why. I love hard obstacle courses, thats why I do Roblox Tiered obbies, am currently trying path of pain, and am waiting for getting celeste!

The greatest challenge yet, meanwhile it's taken me more than 3 hours on the final screen alone
I spent 9 hours on just the last screen on my first playthrough >.>
for some reason that screen didnt really give me much trouble, though when i got to it i quit out and did all of the c sides witch made me much more prepared for it
the final screen is more of an endurance test. some rooms in Determination or Event Horizon are more difficult, but those are short enough that you can just keep retrying until you get it (which may still take hours)

its really fun and i didnt get impatient with it at all, and the first 7 chapters are the main story and aren't all that hard
I have an upwards of 6000 deaths on this chapter and still haven't beaten it. I have a maximum of 200 for each other chapter.

I know that, i meant that the hearts gate isn’t shown on the vods, but on the clips instead :v and i would understand the hesitation to continue chp9, i got don’t remember how many deaths the 1st time i cleared it lol
I would definitely recommend playing on pc and install some mods, the spring collab 2020 has some nice training rooms

oh no. this is gonna be painful to watch, isn't it?
My guy, you are NOT gonna enjoy playing Farewell. If it took you almost 4 hours to get ONLY that far, you haven't even gotten half way through this chapter yet. And the levels only skyrocket in difficulty after this. Calling this chapter a hellish nightmare insanity would be a severe understatement, and I'm not even exaggerating. I really do wish you good luck on beating this, because the reward at the end is absolutely worth it!
I mean... I didn't actually think Farewell was _that_ bad, and that was with going for the optional extra bit at the end. It just took perseverance, patience, and optimism. That, and I guess I actually completed the B & C sides prior to even touching Farewell, and it still took me 10 hours alone... hm... perhaps you're right. But a worthwhile experience all the same.

@@TheGamingLegendsOfficial oh yeah, i think that's def part of the point of playing celeste, i think your perspective got shifted bc you grinded so many celeste levels that you literally got attached to the struggle and persevered through
@@almonds2689 Honestly I started playing thinking I'd never even touch B-sides, let alone doing anything more. But now I've beaten Farewell _and_ have a time of 1:23 for my record speedrun time (which I could probably still improve to be honest)
it took me 13 hours, but it was fun

Hey,are you going to play celeste mods? If yes i think you can start from the spring collab,it's a good difficulty for you i think, the difficulty is progressive, it makes you learn progressively harder strats with a tutorial each,so i think it can be a good idea!there a rven more then 20 new mecchanics!And i tell you,the celest modding community is one of the best ones,so i think you will like it,now,hopefully waiting a celest mod stream,or at least that you try it by yourself,i tell you goodbye and hope your next streams do good.
I think glyth is also a great mod to start with, it has a difficulty slightly higher than farewell but not too much. The problem is that the grandmaster parts in spring collab are too much for some people, especially starting from the third lobby.
@@icecp6532 why do you think he will start with the third lobby? He can start from the first and then learn little by little,like he did with ceoeste,the level's difficulty increases littlr by little and the gyms train you to use the advanced movements so i belive in him and think he can do it,but i think that glyth can be a good first mod too,but before thinking about it let's wait,when he notices this comment we can talk about this,why? Because maiby he will not play mods.

Yeah, you techincally don't need to beat b-sides before farewell but expierience from them is really valuable in this chapter.
You need all c sides and b sides
@@StacyMcCabe no you do not, you need b sides to unlock the heart gate, but you can skip it with a combination of wave and super dashes, though i recommend completing the b sides first so you can learn the 7b tech

@@StacyMcCabe its fine lol, id still play at least a few c sides before chapter 9, since the second half is so hard. the only reason i didnt is because i found 8b too annoying. (you only have to get the hearts up to 7b)
