Я начал заниматься с первого урока около года назад и прошел уже более половины курса, сейчас конечно я чувствую себя более уверенным во время построения фраз. Большинство текстов курса мне стали ясны, на первых уроках я записывал переводы всех непонятных фраз, устойчивых выражений и прочих оборотов и этот список составлял весьма обширную колонку. Сейчас я тоже этим занимаюсь то теперь колонка уменьшилась в 2-3 раза. Дополнительно я смотрю фильмы в оригинале, хотя наверное и половины не понимаю, видно что есть куда расти и развиваться! Вам огромная благодарность за ваш труд!

В румынском языке тоже слово Vis имеет 2 перевода - Мечта и сон. И вообще в румынском множество слов пришло с английского: bicicleta, umbrela, elefant, strada, pagina, unsula. Можно бесконечно перечислять. Отсюда вывод: зная один иностранный язык, гораздо проще изучить следующий.
Думаю, да, такие знания полезны. Иногда можно "раскодировать" слово через другой язык.

Елена, спасибо за очередной урок. Не могу понять почему вы везде используете tell без объекта, которому сообщается информация(например: "I told that I felt great ..." или "She told it was curious ...")? Я думал что это не правильно и необходимо говорить say.
Смотрите, после tell всегда что-то идет. Чаще всего это объект (на кого направлена речь). Но не запрещено указать придаточное предложение, к примеру, I told that we need to talk.

2. It's good for her because she had a chance to relax, to distance from her problems, her family for a while.
3. I think Tess thinks that dreams have a hidden meaning so she was curious to hear Claire's dream.
4. According to the doctor's, the meaning of the dream is in a hidden desire.
5. Personally, I think it is true except that it is too hyperbolized.

Елена Викторивна, потрібна ваша порада!( Я здаю ЗНО цього року ( дякую за ваші відео по граматиці дуже-дуже помагають ), підскажіть обов'язково потрібно купувати спеціальні книжки з тестами, чи краще набирати словниковий запас через літературні книжки, а прокачувати аудіювання через різні фільмі, підкасти і так далі? Чи яка ваша думка?
Обязательно нужно готовиться к формату экзамена. Там довольно объемные тексты и тесты. Вы должны быть к этому готовы, чтоб "глаза на лоб не вылезли" ,когда увидите экзаменационный листок.
Стратегия сдачи экзамена подбирается исходя из ваших целей. Но на пороговый минимум: пишите сочинение. Его проверяют лояльно. Можно писать даже простыми фразами, но должно быть грамотно, нужно уложиться в объем и точно ответить на вопросы.
Дальше "добивайте" баллы тестами. Задания с заголовками считаются легкими. Я бы рекомендовала в следующую очередь сделать их. На конец оставляйте самые сложные задания, чтобы не терять на них времени. Времени мало.

Пока нет. Очень уж это трудоемкий процесс.

was - это глагол, supposed выглядит,как глагол, но технически это не глагол.
Перед police артикль the не нужен?
Интересный роман, куча новых слов для меня, Фрэйд, конечно, был большим новатором своего времени, но сейчас не так уж актуален, если только р рамках развития психологии как науки.
В немецком языке "сон" и "мечта" тоже звучат одинаково, тоже не понятно, почему 🤔

А есть какой-либо способ, кроме заучивания, правильно использовать существительные, множественное число которых строится нестандартно, а не просто добавлением -s?, Например:
Tooth, Sheep, Goose, Octopus, Child, Mouse итд?
Ну как еще. кроме многократного повторения и заучивания? Методика "во сне" не работает. Гипноз и 25 кадр - сомневаюсь. Может, еще что-то у вас на примете есть?

Честно говоря, у меня обычно 1 герой во сне. Но все люди разные, у всех разные сны.

@@vyacheslavartemov453 мне вообще редко сны снятся. Может, и снятся, но я не помню их. Но у меня бывало, что снился сон, как будто он реален. И потом он частично сбывался. Или приходил сон-подсказка, когда долго не могла разобраться в какой-то ситуации. Но я знаю людей, которым снятся постоянно разные сны, и там как будто другая реальность, в мире снов. Но это не мой вариант.
Я подумала, что было бы интересно вставить такие штуки со снами в роман. Поэтому Клер периодически снятся важные сны, которые наталкивают ее на определенные мысли. Я даже думаю сделать в финале какую-то фишку в кульминации,связанную с ее сном. Очень хочется тему снов по-максимуму использовать.
