I am just blown away. I think I might have been about 12 years old in RSC Days. Baby love has grown into an amazingly beautiful woman. My jaw literally hit the floor when she just started busting moves in her lounge room with her husband adoring her and her child totally disinterested (as you would expect). Baby love, you are so loved! All of us kids of the '80s will forever hold you in our hearts nostalgically. I mean that in the most respectful way possible. The best years of my life where break Dancing & Freestylin on our BMX's to the sounds of RSC. This was in the Suburbs of Melbourne Australia. Between you guys and the Beastie Boys, you made my childhood a childhood.
That was a nice and comforting thing to see her all grown up, safe, healthy, with her loving family at her side and with values in life. For her being 15 in 1983 I can say, that it goes for me as well, turning 52 in 2020. Her smile reassures everybody, that there's good people on Planet Earth. I wish her the best life has to offer.
Good to see her come out of the other side unlike what happened to BUCK4 and the other member who were murdered because of their involvement in street gangs and sh*t.
I lernt Break Dance with Only ONE record: Hey You the Rock Steady Crew... played literaly hundreds and hundreds of times. Break Dance, the most Deep, intense, incredibile love ad passion I ever had... Thank you Baby Love and thank you Rock Steady

What’s great video. I lived in London in 1983 and I was 10 years old when this was a hit. I loved this record so much that me and my friends all began break dancing, rapping and practicing graffiti - mostly on paper using markers to develop our style. Funny thing is that years later I went on to be in a number of rock bands and all songs were created by a process of jamming, the musicians would play and I would freestyle lyrics on the spot. All of the band members could never understand how I became so good at making up entire songs on the spot... but it all started from rapping to old school hip hop - Rock Steady Crew / Fat Boys / Grandmaster Flash / etc. Today I still record and make music videos from my home studio. I’m really glad to have see Baby Girl (I’ve used that term in loads of my lyrics) is doing so well today. She was always a great symbolic figure for this of us who loved early hip hop.
So happy to see she's doing wonderfully - I saw them when they performed at Olympia, London. For Pioneer or Panasonic in a seperate enclosure. They were in those white & yellow/orange outfits "Hey You..." had hit the charts. It was great!! She looks stunning ~ I'd wondered how she was doing & now I know!

My mother was from the bronx and i see all the personality that nyc had back in the 80s. She moved my brother to jersey hoping to give him a life in a better environment but i look at this and cant help but think we got shortchanged abit. Sure the bronx was dangerous as shit and mostly poor but i see that in situations like that things like grafitti breakin and hip hop get created. What a time to be alive man
She still looks sweet. Especially at the end of the video. I was 8yo when the album came out and i was soooooo in love with her :) and her music of course.
Glad to see she has done well. My friends were the NYC Breakers aka Floor masters and only a few grew up to do well. Early on one died from a motorcycle crash after they all bought super bikes with Beat Street money.
Let's face it ... she couldn't Dance ... she did a little Top Rock and that was it - she certainly didn't go to the floor with anything meaningful - she was the Token female to draw that demographic commercially. All you people looking for the empowerment of women thing ... you're suckers - this was a Management and Record Company move to get the female demographic for SALES! $$$$$$ ... Look at the History of the Rock Steady Crew ... and the NYC Breakers ... Baby Love is nowhere to be seen.

*_John 3.16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”_*
_Jesus Christ loves you. Repent and be saved. Only Jesus Christ saves. God bless you, and the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you and your family..._
What a time to be alive man
They were from Manhattan you mutt
@@ivand9610 Why don't you take a course in reading comprehension before you make an idiotic comment ?
She still looks sweet. Especially at the end of the video. I was 8yo when the album came out and i was soooooo in love with her :) and her music of course.
My Mommy told me i started jumping around every time "hey You" played.. I was 3 yo at this time

Nice to see the story behind this song which was one that defined my music taste.
She looks amazing still a great tune 👍💞
Glad to see she has done well. My friends were the NYC Breakers aka Floor masters and only a few grew up to do well. Early on one died from a motorcycle crash after they all bought super bikes with Beat Street money.
Work like nobody's watching
Dance like you've never been hurt
Love like you don't need the money
Spout cliches like youve never cliched before
日本人だから何言ってるかよくわかんないけど、凄く面白い映像でした😊
Nice! b-girl👍
Can't believe it's only had the views it has had...My childhood in one song...Thank You Baby Love...x
one of many great memories from 1983 as I was fifteen at the time a well
God, she's more beautiful now than ever!!
It is so nice to see her again. Thank you.
I was 10 in 1983 and had a crush on Baby Love. She's still cute! Gotta love her.
