Wish she'd put the unreleased songs like Death Angels and Pretty Dark on there... can only hope but not likely. We need her to just drop something like this with all of the unreleased songs!!! Only suggestion would be is that I believe she said 'Welcome to the Opera' would be the opening track.

@@birch8109 pretty dark was for a side project, she has said she wanted to release music under the “dark” character & this was just a way for her to release music away from the grimes name. I believe that era of music has ether evolved into this new album, it’s being saved for another project (very unlikely) or the most possible idea is that it’s scrapped. I think she wanted to put out a song because her last album wasn’t released & it was a way for her to put out music not tied with that last album. She’s doing what arca did with the kick albums & there’s going to be A LOT of demos & songs that don’t make the cut. Some of those songs will never be released & some won’t make it out of the demo phases that’s just how making music is. Sometimes making one song goes into making a whole different sound & idea & people need to understand why some demos & song never get released, they weren’t needed to be released

I think it will be. Book 1 is supposed to be a "lesbian space opera" in her words lol so it'd make sense to include that song
i sob because these songs as soo good, i love digital calypso it gave me this fluttery feeling on my chest 😭 it's an adorable feeling. i just couldn't bare myself for waiting Grimes to release them all, it's just too good for my emotional self.
Not gonna lie, she set the bar pretty high with Miss Anthropocene. Will be hard to top off, I've already come to accept we may see it as Grimes' magnus opus in a few years from now, but hey she's still young and vibrant, and she's hanging out with all the right people to produce incredibly interesting art. So we'll see!

Unfortunately Grimes has recently stated that she will release one more album being her final one, then she plans on being a traveling humanitarian to help people all over the world. Personally she is helping with her music, I would have given up 7 years ago when my mom died without her music.

woo! The mix on death angels is such a welcome change of pace after several especially soft, ethereal tracks in a row. I hope the final album has a few more heavy hitters like that, a mix of soft and heavy tracks certainly helped lend a balance to missanthropocene. thanks for putting this together!

@@nashwagemakers PoG anf Shinigami did fine I think. The biggest reason why we havent gotten BOOK 1 is because she doesn't want to release it. BOOK 1 was supposed to come two/three years ago but she had problems with her label and it got delayed and now she is labeless but she still doesn't want to release it because she feels its too old.
@aeas09 if she produced it under the label then there's a HUGE chance her old label litterally owns the entirety of the recorded book one

Grimes is way the hell over there. I return to hear and see. I probably always will. I believe that says it all.
So, she has thoughtful words which I sense means she feels herself from others affects so deeply that she had to discharge electric energy or she might hurt some solid objects.
That said there is no way to say about her except to balance the hole of these letting black lines without saying of me too. Sciency, yes. Organic some say, yes. It can't be escaped that fiber exists abd wgsy we are abd wgy we do us a space time relationship we have abd so, if you've no head for it, you may hate us who do.
There is a huge cluster of very small objects abd they move about each other like a nega giant groups of bees in fast motion. They stay in a lumpy somewhat oblong group. They pull this band to it abd the band recognized that they have just one thing in common, in their motion oof repulsions to one another- what binds them as warring ball type things
So the different group feels it and comes to them a d loves to stay around the part where they feel one thing in common - from the ball emits a band of yummy. So they stick themselves there to charge off the war.
Then the ball discharges from the edges of the belt (BAND) that settled around it to recieved that feeling. Abd the war let's go some emotion and these wet things form a d it adds color
That changed the war to a battle. It pulled fir the first time as one body that has a plate around it's wobble a d the best squeezed the core into position.
The pit bees came and the war became an orb.
Jupiter sunk deeper in and Scorpio was born. Sagittarius wasn't yet Sagittarius. That's after the ends are broken on purpose by a much larger motion in the passion of feeling another - with no words necessary?
