This is a 2 billion movie, and here´s why: because I (I´m 62 years old) will go there. The target audience will be so much bigger than the one for DEADPOOL/WOLVERINE, you can´t even fathom how big at this point.
Superman returns was similar to the films you grew up with and even a continuation of a couple of them with a reeve lookalike, why do you think that is given the nostalgia
To be fair Chris, Marvel was forced to push content out there via their now former CEO. Remember Winter Soldier was a success and that didn’t make a billion. As long as the film is loved by fans and made its profit it’s a success in my eyes.
Winter Soldier definitely opened up a theme and style for Marvel and became an instant classic for the MCU! Bob pushing out all that crazy demands for Disney Plus was insanity.
Yes I want the film to be successful. Most importantly, I want it to be great as well. A movie doesn't have to make a billion dollars in order to be a great film. I enjoyed many movies that didn't make anywhere near a billion dollars. Thanks for the video.
Personally I agree with you Christian a comic book movie doesn’t need to make a billion dollars to be a success not at all. Keep up the great work man oh by the way I received today the complete series of Smallville on Blu-ray never watched it before what at I in for
Saw the trailer for this when I went to see Sonic 3 (great btw😁), it looks pretty good, he's throwing in some Justice League characters in it, but the actual film itself remains to be judged. We still want Cavill of course, but the new dude has the look so far!!
I think it’s possible but I think it’ll make $600-800M idk if it’ll make a billion. I’m more concerned with it being critically successful than financially. I hope it’s so enjoyable critically the positive buzz drowns out the negativity of trolls.
True, especially if it’s not critically received well that would open the flood gate for bad press with trades and that could hurt its box office numbers. But.. in James Gunn we trust lol
@ I have faith in his writing ability. People tend to convolute his skills with his sense of humor but forget he made us care about a raccoon and now a weasel.
@ yea dude! That latest episode of Creature Commandos was tragic! He’s so good at writing characters with flaws and who are always mistakenly misunderstood
Very confident! I’m sure James Gunn has a rough outline of where he wants to take this character with a 3 movie arc. Superman is going to be James Gunn’s baby.
This movie has the ingredients for a billion dollar film. The most important thing is making a great film but in my opinion if this movie is well received there is no way it doesn’t make a billion.
Adjusted for inflation, Superman 1978 made over 1.4 billion dollars. That's insane. Superman 4 made a little over 144 million. So, perhaps there's hope for next year's Superman to join the billion dollar club.
Soon, in the not to distant future, 300-600 mil will be the norm. The buzz and hype will come down. Only older men and women watch this stuff. I asked my teenage son if he wanted to watch The Flash movie. He said, "Why? All he does is run fast. " The youth aren't gaga over this shyt. 300-600 mil is still a win. Budgets will come down...
Lower budgets definitely help the process of the box office. We’ve seen time and time again when studios spend all this money on projects that come in lower than expected. Like the recent Indiana Jones movie
Does anybody knows or can anybody verify that the teaser indeed got ratio-ed as the Rebel Moon fans claimed? 250mil views. Does the teaser got more likes or dislikes?.. The teaser got a lot of "what the eff?!" moments that already makes the hopefuls and naysayers wanna go chk it out in cinemas to fulfilled their curiousities.. Dont think so? Then why the eff they watched and still watching it so so many times?? Win win I think..🤷🏻♂️
Criminally underrated channel. Keep it up my bro
Thanks bro! Appreciate the support!
i concur

2 billion?? As much as I would love that I don’t think it reaches those kind of numbers.
Superman returns was similar to the films you grew up with and even a continuation of a couple of them with a reeve lookalike, why do you think that is given the nostalgia
I wouldn't be surprised if it did make 1 billion
Definitely think it has the potential to! With a positive word of mouth and the buzz it’s getting it can make a lot.
@@CReelProductions finally we are getting the Superman the fans have been waiting for.
@ wholeheartedly agree!
this is a 2 billion movie
This is going to make over a billion. Mark my words. Going to be the film of year next year.
Next year has some heavy competition but I know Superman will deliver!
@ mission impossible is my next most anticipated film.
Finally someone who knows what Superman movie should be
🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿

winter soldier was one of the greats
We need DC, Marvel and Star Wars to get back on track.
I’ve lost all hope for Star Wars…

What?!?? You’ve never seen Smallville??? Oh you’re in for a treat! I’m jelly lol

I’m glad you enjoyed Sonic!!!! I can’t wait to see it again

I need it to make a billion. My Man of Steel friends are a bit too cocky
Whether a billion or not, how confident are you this does well enough for a sequel
Very confident! I’m sure James Gunn has a rough outline of where he wants to take this character with a 3 movie arc. Superman is going to be James Gunn’s baby.

It has all the ingredients and if it's good, we're gonna have a hit. I have no doubt in my mind!
I’m predicting 500 million or 7 million box office
2 Billion or nothing at all! 😤
Lol come on
@@CReelProductionsNot at all. It'll do well I'm sure, but it ain't hittin' that much!!😅😅

Yeah, the original Superman movie was a HUGE deal! Thanks for sharing the numbers when adjusting for inflation!
I Think Superman Will Be Making 500-600 Million or Little More. Jurassic World Rebirth Will Definitely Hit Billion Dollars
Those Jurassic movies always make bank lol
I'm calling it now. Cap Brave New World will out perform Superman..
Stares in the batman 2.....
I don't want this film to make a billion at the box office because DC/WB will start rushing things and put quantity over quality.
I don’t think James Gunn would allow that being the CEO of DC Studios. He understands the importance of developing projects
Not a very good take. And I disagree
Soon, in the not to distant future, 300-600 mil will be the norm. The buzz and hype will come down. Only older men and women watch this stuff. Gunn's Superman will flop.
But making a billion doesnt mean it's a great movie.
Transformers made a billion twice
Like snyder films were great 😂😂
Easy. If the movie great
Which I have a great feeling it will exceed all expectations
!
I didn't think it's beating MoS. It just looks cheap and nostalgia won't carry it kind of like it didn't carry The Flash
Not sure about billion dollar box office but it can definitely beat MOS. And this movie is not looking cheap at all.
