Really such a great match to watch, well played both players. Tunjung was strong from the the back of the court, Marin (as usual) was excellent at the net. In the third game Marin realised she needed to try to keep the shuttle in a downward direction, not rallies with multiple clears. Also, I think Marin has the better fitness perhaps. Well done on another trophy Carolina.
Marin's game has gotten way better after her previous injury. She is more controlled, has better front court control, back hand shots, and not all just power and fierce now. Good to see.
Tunjung forehand side is like magic. It can go anywhere. She holds & disguises, and she has a lot of feel for shot making from that side. Her front on the backhand though has a lot of unforced errors, and not much of the feel other than just lobbing it deep, or basic net back to you.
What a beautiful well-fought match!! Congratulations to both players...
Marin kelihatan bugar, sedangkan Jorji kelihatan ngos-ngosan. Seandainya Jorji staminanya bagus, Marin akan sulit mengakahkan Jorji, karena Jorji memiliki teknik tipuan yang bagus.

Gregoria stamina nya terlihat seperti kurang fit, seperti kelelahan skalii, lemah di bola2 pendek dekat net, dan tumpuan kaki kurang sat set dlm melangkah, saatnya istrahat dulu dlm pertandingan dunia.

@@dyo510 Even the very best lose sometimes, and they all get nervous. Confidence is the key, belief in your abilities and strength to win. She has a confident look, I'm glad to see another young lady to rival the Chinese in the years ahead.
Gregoria was too tired already. And her legs were heavily strapped as well. But well done, she lost by two points only.

There’s no fight in these Indonesian players, they play well until they face adversity then they choke. Marin has that fighting spirit that lets her dig deep and climb back to win.

Bagus permainan Jorji set ke 3 kalo tidak keliru sudah memimpin 11-5 sayang kelemahan Jorji mental tidak stabil sering menunjukan kelemahan didepan penonton untuk menarik simpati penonton seharusnya tetap fokus kurangi permainan netting karena tidak efektif bahkan malah menjadi bumerang serangan balik lawan..tetap semangat Jorji dan mentalnya harus kuat dan tegar jangan cengeng.

Gregoria Mariska Tunjung's weakness is her overweight body especially her thighs and calves. I think, she should maintain her weight accurately. For single players, of course her body is not ideal to become the number 1 ranked player in the world. Even though she already has quite complete skills as a requirement to become women's singles world champion.

It is "probably" normal but in order to be a top woman in this sport Tunjung must stop being a drama queen, don't tell me she couldn't reach those shuttlecocks at "very crucial" moments. I had seen her able to recover some of the much more difficult ones, but here she's more like:"..look I have these tapes all over my legs I couldn't reach those".
