According to the internet. Brandon Jay McLaren, who plays Jack Landors, on Power Rangers SPD was offered to reprise his role to be on Power Rangers Operation Overdrive. However, due to a break-up with Power Rangers Dino Thunder actress Emma Lahana (who he had dated in real life), McLaren turned down the offer when told she would also be reprising her role, plus Chris Violette who plays Sky Tate was unavailable at the time, and the storyline was altered to have Bridge become the new S.P.D. Red Ranger
I don't have a problem with men being named Kelly. The current lead singer of Foreigner (for the last 20 years) is named Kelly and he's great. I imagine he's made a lot of money performing live shows as a member of Foreigner for that long and has no reason to care if people hate his name. I've never met or heard of anyone named "Gooch" in the real world. It's an odd name because it sounds like "Douche." But I don't judge people by their names. Besides, it's revealed that his real name is "Gary," though I don't remember how he got the nickname "Gooch" or what it was supposed to mean 7:19 Well, Major Mayhem is trapped in the video game world. Maybe that's how he can see how good everyone who plays video games is. Wait, when is it explained that dying in the game means dying in real life? I thought it was made clear that everyone who died in the game was alive in the end. 21:09 In your top 10 villains video, you included Travis from "My Imaginary Friend," saying that a guy who looks normal but is actually evil can be more dangerous than an obvious monster. So I don't see why that logic doesn't apply to this episode. Besides, the show was new at this point. This was before Big Yellow and the Scarecrow and the Dream Catcher and the house and, well, most of your favorite villains. It wasn't as well known for its villains as it is now. Anyway, it wouldn't have made as much sense for them to go with some big monster as the villain for this game. Then the ending wouldn't make sense. The ending for this episode only works if the villain is an ordinary-looking guy. I think this is a really good episode. The idea of an episode taking place in a video game world was a really cool idea and it was well-executed. I agree that it would have worked better as a 2-part episode so that we could see the development of Kelly's friendship with the other 2 gamers, which would have increased the impact of the moment that he calls on them for the final boss fight. I also agree that it doesn't make much sense that Gooch is the one who has the video game system when he stinks at video games, I think it should have been at Kelly's house. But it's a pretty good story as it is and the flaws are minor. I think I'd give it an 8/10 like you did. It's not my favorite episode, but it's a good one
Awesome video bro! This is one of my favorite episodes and it has a better end credits song than most episodes do with the boring oh e oh e oh e that plays over and over.
+Wolf Entertainment 9:26 The actor who played Jack / Red SPD Power Ranger was actually not the only Power Rangers actor who made an appearance in the Haunting Hour. There was another character who portrayed a different Red Power Ranger & portrayed 2 characters different in 2 different episodes of the Haunting Hour. The actor is Alex Heartman, who portrayed Jayden / The Red Samurai Ranger from Power Rangers Samurai, Super Samurai, and made a surprise appearance in Super Megaforce. In the Haunting Hour, Alex Heartman, or as you would've dubbed him at some points the "Red Samurai Ranger" or "Jayden", portrayed Bobby in The Scarecrow & Caleb. (forgrive me if I got the name wrong) in Nightmare Inn. Unlike with the Red SPD Ranger in Game Over, you currently haved not mentioned Alex Heartman's role as the Red Samurai Power Ranger in your reviews or other Haunting Hour-based videos.
TheMultiverse 1 Interesting trivia. We thought about reviewing the Power Rangers once, but we just needed to schedule stuff out for are review plans. Next time, I talk about Alex Heartman I will try to mention his Ranger role.
Wolf Entertainment My one problem. As I have explored the R.L Stine Haunting Hour Wiki, I noticed that I have accidentally made a mistake / error. The actor who portrayed Bobby & Caleb in the Haunting Hour was not Alex Heartman. He sort of looked like Alex Heartman, but he is actually an entirely different actor. I'm terribly sorry. Please forgive me for my error & mistake. :(
I can't believe over the years that New Zealand and Canada banned Power Rangers series because it was too violent I mean like seriously it's a kid show
This episode was alot more stale than the book version, but a good adaptation. Especially cause Callum Worthy who was in the Disney sitcom Austin and Ally was the main character in this show. Callum is hilarious. XD
Ik I’m years late to this, but Gooch isn’t actually his real name, His real name is actually Gary because when his mom calls him to help her with the groceries, she refers to him as “Gary” and even Kelly comments on him being named “Gary” So the two main characters are Kelly and Gary [who’s nickname is “Gooch”] What’s weird is that the Wiki doesn’t mention this.
Yes, my brother Wolf and I binge-watched Code Lyoko last summer, we like it even with some of its weirder moments. I actually wanted to work in a virtualization joke in this review, but couldn't since this episode had the characters enter the game world in a very different way. So I may have to use that joke in a Goosebumps or Are You Afraid of the Dark review some time.
Please do. When I heard the theme, my face lit up. Also, if you want, I can help fit in a virtualization joke. Oh, and am I the only one who noticed Gooch was wearing a Freddy Krueger sweater in the first scene?

Game over was a good episode but the main characters names were stupid gootch and Kelly were terrible names for a main character but the boss fight was stupid the episode was not really that scary our main villain is a man in a suit our twisted ending was Kell getting stuck in the game world forever until a new gamer does a challenge and another twisted ending was Kell sucking a child into the gaming world just for he can be free so the ending was about Kelly only caring for himself and leaving a child into the game world I'm giving this episode 8/10
You mean, how Kel-raiser being an egotistical, competition freak who thinks team work is beneath him & declares that second place is for losers before growing into a humbler, team player is nothing like Rainbow?
I liked how you used the Code Lyoko theme in this episode. I miss that show. even though the fifth season was kind of a Reboot. The show STILL isn't continuing for some reason. Did you like that show Wolf?

Tbh i did not like the ending to Goosebumps Welcome To Camp Nightmare. How are they aliens if they have human characteristics, human food and human enviorment?? It makes no sense! I think Stine could not think of a proper ending so he just went with the ailen one.
Earth-like planets do exist out there (I mean, we are looking for them). Aliens don't have to be these weird looking creatures like the Xenomorphs or Asari. Alien is just something or someone that is foreign to an environment. Sure it's weak but most of the episode is still somewhat good. - Wolf
Yeah, Welcome to Camp Nightmare is my least favorite Goosebumps episode and book for that exact reason. I wasn't enjoying it all that much even before the ending, but any enjoyment I did have was ruined by the ending

I love resident evil and walking dead so much they are my favorite games so I liked this episode
Game Over was a good episode but it could've been more scary than comedic.
I mean if you listen to the mom’s voice in the beginning you can hear her saying GARY!!!
This needs more fears or storyline that gives more scares
Code Lycho was a nice touch
