Easily the most creative, unique, and interesting use of the Arbhar. I've watched every video of the Arbhar on RUclips, and not until watching this one did I order the module just now. Ace work!
Oh my God! This is so brilliant. That flute gives so much goosebumbs to me. And this overall soundpalette is just stunning! Thank you for this unforgetable journey.
Oh my, this is so amazing! Absolutely love the flute playing, chord pads, and granulated percussion. I can tell this module really inspired you and must be special. I ordered one a few days ago, but probably gonna be awhile before I get it, so this was really nice to see you use it musically in such a cool way ;)
Yeah buddy these latest Instruo modules inspired me to take the plunge into hardware! So far I ordered the arbhar, lubadh, & an es-9. Im starting with those but want to add a morphagene, mimeophone, & magneto. I think my plan is to build some kind of an effects case and send it sounds and modulation from the computer. Seems like Arbhar & Lubadh are deep enough that you could do so much with just those two things after bringing external sounds into them:)
@@adiquinn1 Oh man, that's so nice! I also ordered Lubadh but it will take a bit more I guess until it's out. And I really want Magneto at one point, it looks amazing!
That’s super cool u are getting the lubadh too, it looks like a work of art. I’m really excited about the slow speeds and reverse, layering/degrading with the crossfade aux, and this clock output seems really useful too. Looking forward to your future videos using it:)
Absolutely beautiful ! Damn I sold my Eurorack 3 years ago when I found out I became father and needed the money but these Instruo modules really make me wanna come back haha ! I fucking love Granular !
@@OmriCohen-Music I'm building a rig around them plus shapeshifter (for it's vocoder abilities) and rainmaker. So far I have yet to see someone patch a voice-related arbhar output into the shapeshifter as vocoder and then patch that into morphagene to see if it works the way I think it will.
@@OmriCohen-Music Better not to hold your breath though, as the kit I have in mind is expensive and may take some time to work towards. But I'll happily share the results! Do you have a shapeshifter?
Nice set! So.. the 3 modules on the left side, clouds and chrono and ???(Plateau?) Are those virtual modules??? I need to consider mimeophon after this one, cheers!
Thanks! Yes, they are from VCV Rack, which is a virtual modular synthesizer, free, open source, and awesome :) There are many hardware clones available like Chronoblob2 and Clouds.
Did you do some post processing to remove noise from the Arbhar? when I crank my input/output level to the max I get noticeable noise but this sounds really clean.
Well, the mic on Arbhar is a condenser mic so there will have to be some noise since it's quite sensitive. I have it here set to all the way wet so maybe that's why the noise is not so present. I'm not so sure...
So like everyone else I am waiting for the Arbhar and my expert sleepers es-9 so I ordered the Morphagene also. Can’t wait to to put some binaural recordings to it with the zoomH3-VR Could be intense
Omri Cohen also I wanted to thank you. I have a 30 +year back ground in using midi and computers but never really got into modular.. But with your help in vcv rack I am hooked and the direction of these digital units I am totally sold. On a side note I want a rack of just the instruo stuff in my living room that stuff is a work of art visually and audibly. The only down side is that my wife would notice that these were new every thing else I have looks the same to her haha
Well, I'm thinking of making a video about this because they are quite different. The Morphagene is more of a granular tape machine and Arbhar is more of a granular processor. Actually, if you want to compare Arbhar to something, then it's quite similar to Clouds in granular mode. It will also generate grains and will give you control on the size of the grains, their shape, and density.
Well, the Morphagene is more of a sampler or a granular tape machine and Arbhar is more of a granular processor so I use Morphagene for granular sample manipulation, and Arbhar to granularly process the sound and turn it into something else.
Easily the most creative, unique, and interesting use of the Arbhar. I've watched every video of the Arbhar on RUclips, and not until watching this one did I order the module just now. Ace work!

Oh man, uber ASMR patch. Fantastic sounds you're making here Omri, love this patch!
I'm really glad you enjoyed it, Lars! It was so much fun performing this :)
wow! tuned in for an arbhar demo... came away with universal enlightenment! this was a stunning composition.
I'm really glad you enjoyed it! Thanks!
I absolutely love this performance. It’s so nice to see the organic textures playing through modular. Thanks so much.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Sounds great, and the painted blanks is brilliant
Thanks!

+1 for that!
Beautiful, Omri! Received my Arbhar last week; what a great and inspiring module!

Love this track Omri. Amazing textures from Arbhar. Re-re-watching this while I wait for mine to arrive.

Hey Sander! Yeah, granular was the reason I started this journey, with the Morphagene... And yes, Arbhar is a beauty!
The cool thing is that you can have such a small rig these days and go far and get so much done (especially in the granular domain).
Mesmerising and Inspiring. Thank you, Omri.
I'm really happy you enjoyed it!
This is exactly the kind of teamwork between arbhar and morphagene I've been looking for! Brilliant!

the atmosphere you built up here is just phenomenal. then the flut. wow. so much color & textrue. this is very very dope.
Hey, thank you so much! I really enjoy playing the flute recently :)
10/10 for creativaty AND sound!
Thank you so much!
Great demonstration & so musical! Loved how you built this piece of music...great work 👍🏼🎶🖤
Thank you so much!
Wow...the way music was meant to sound! Beautiful work
Thanks so much!
You've painted a really beautiful place in my mind. Thanks for bringing me there. Awesome jam.
Thank you so much man, I appreciate it!
I swear you make this look so easy. It's no wonder you're the official unofficial VCV Rack masterclass teacher.
I'm having lots of fun :) Cheers!
Brilliant! What a performance. Really making the best use of your gear.
Thanks so much!
oh wow, modular live looping is really something new, nice Omri!
Yeah, it's so much fun! I can't wait to get Lubadh already... Thank you!
Amazing composition, love it! Modules like Morphagene, Clouds, Mimeophone, and now Abhar are what make modular special to me, magic boxes!
Thank you! Yeah, I love this combination of modules :)
Very beautiful. Inspiring use of granular.
Thank you!
Absolutely stunning and thank you for the patch notes and kit information.
Thanks so much! And I'm happy you found the notes interesting :)
Absolutely amazing. A great addition to your set and style.
Thanks! Yeah, I'm really in love with this one...
I've been waiting to see what you would do with the Arbhar.
Excellent mix of sounds. The flute sounds great through Morphagene too.
There's so much more to explore... I love it :)
What a nice journey! Thanks for sharing your passion with us! :)
I'm really glad you enjoyed it, thanks!
Yap, now i remember why I got into eurorack, for some sonically and visually magical videos like these.
Hey, wow, thanks so much!
wow fantastic textures ... this is pushing me hard for arbhar! :)
I absolutely love this module...
Whoa, this is rather rainforesty/misy mountany by the end, very nice atmosphere that flute adds
Yeah, Arbhar is great for creating those nice plucky atmospheres :)
I wonder if you had as much fun making this as I do watching it. Beautiful set

Hi Omri
Do you know how to access samples on the USB stick in the back of the Abhar from the front panel ?
Hi! Well, there is still no manual so I'm not so sure how this works with the USB stick unfortunately. I hope that the manual will come out soon
right on!!!!! brother
Cheers!
Another beautiful video! Who did the artwork on the blanks? It fits so nicely with the music and granular theme.

can Arbhar play the entire duration (~10 seconds) of one sample, or can it only play shorter fragments?
It will not play the whole 10 seconds, no. The longest grain duration is 3 seconds long.
What do you feel is the difference between the Arbhar and the Morphagene? Since you have both, would love to hear your thoughts on these two.
Well, I'm thinking of making a video about this because they are quite different. The Morphagene is more of a granular tape machine and Arbhar is more of a granular processor. How do you use this and the Morphagene in different ways and where in the same ways?
Well, the Morphagene is more of a sampler or a granular tape machine and Arbhar is more of a granular processor so I use Morphagene for granular sample manipulation, and Arbhar to granularly process the sound and turn it into something else.
@@OmriCohen-Music Thanks! Will try to understand the Arbhar better.
