I would imagine that if one of the debt collector was viewing his instagram account with all his lavish spendings while knowing fernando still owed him 70k, he would in doubt be furious. A lot of people have the mentality of "You need money to make money". In some cases, that's true, but something like this is wrong. Most likely he didn't want to pay his debts because he wants to use that money to make more money and then pay the debt. The biggest problem with that is it's kinda like gambling with other people's money. Spending your own money to make money is fine because if you were wrong, you lost your own money. If you lose other people's money, well, you're f$%^ked.

I know a lot of people would point at his behavior before his death as not being one of a suicidal person, but how many times do we watch videos from channels like Coffehouse Crime where some suicide or murder-suicide has friends and neighbors going "oh my god, he/she seemed so happy, I never would've guessed!" At this point we all should've learned not to take a person's outward behavior as indisputable proof they aren't hiding some sort or internal struggle.

Being rich is not a problem. Flaunting it. is. Got enough money to drive a Lamborghini? Get a decent Skoda. Got enough to retire and never work again? Work at least 1 shift a week at a minimum wage job, just to deflect attention. Got enough to buy a mansion? Buy a modest sized house, maybe on its own land if you really do want the privacy. Hell, you can walk down the street with an ounce of solid gold in your back pocket, safely, as long as you are wearing poor or middle class clothing. No designer brands. Just don't, flaunt, wealth. Use it to buy freedom, not put a damm target on your back.

@ That is good to hear. It has its own, joys. Sometimes people will mock you due to not appearing as successful as they think you should. At those times, I remind myself how much less I work in a week then they do. And count the blessings I do posses. It is a peaceful life for sure.
Just remember that, assets, are the key to wealth. Currency is how many 00’s you have in your bank account. Assets, are things like money, property, business, and investments. If you wish to build wealth, save up as much money as you can, and put as much of it as you can towards these ends.

It's ridiculous to think John Forsyth "had no idea"' why he was kidnapped in 2022. What kidnapper would hold someone captive without disclosing their reasons to someone? Especially when they let the captive go unharmed? There would be zero point in doing that! I absolutely believe that John knew his kidnapper(s) and/or the reasons behind the abduction.

It's a horrible tragedy. Things about the perpetrator have been coming out and it sounds like he was struggling with his mental health and off his meds. A lot of people in his life can't imagine him becoming this violent and his family expressed concerns about his mental health, I think he was diagnosed with schizophrenia. I can't help but feel bad for him, angry he went off his meds, but at the same time I often did the same when my bipolar wasn't as severe and I felt "fine" (I haven't gone off my meds in 2 years because I have so many reminders on my body how dangerous that is for me). Antipsychotics can have side effects that are distressing to people, especially the weight gain and sedation so I can imagine if his schizophrenia isn't under control he could be paranoid he's being poisoned or think he's perfectly fine and doesn't need them.
I'm not defending or agreeing with him, just providing some insight as someone with similar mental health issues. Even if they did horrendous things, I can't help but feel sad for people going through this stuff and not getting the help they need or being too paranoid and fearful to get help. (My manic delusions are all seated in paranoia, it's a horrible thing to go through, especially if it's severe enough for me to get tactile and auditory hallucinations)
Psychiatrists and psychologists are also really expensive to see as frequently as you need, especially if you use up all of your 10 medicare sessions (you can get an extra 5 if you have a care team of 3 or more)

@@Cyntariayeah but at first everyone was saying he was Muslim and an immigrant and people screaming about it. After they realized it was a yt Aussie born and raised with yt parents THEN he become the victim because of mental issues wich is wild. Literally every post about the tragedy prior knowing who he was, was people blaming immigrants and showing a lot of xenophobia. Now the narrative changed and people trying to make him a victim. Is actually disgusting. He literally stabbed a 9 months baby! Still people try to justify him and ask for respect for the family. If he was an immigrant, different story. They would ask for his family to be send back to their country. This also should be covered because it really shocked me how drastically changed the narrative of the Australians before and after knowing the background of the killer.

What comes to mind when hearing about John’s case is that he could have been blackmailed. The fact that he was once already abducted and robbed and he didn’t say anything about it makes it seem like he also wanted to hide something. Yes they could’ve threatened his family but it seems super weird that in both scenarios he was super compliant, the no talking and in the 2nd one, walking away from his car. Surly he had to know he was walking towards his death. A smart person that was in danger would get in his car and run and warn your family to flee as well. He willingly walked away from his car.
I think he was blackmailed and felt like he didn’t have a choice but to comply. Him sending money to people before his death kinda lets us know he had to have known he was in danger. Why would someone who’s in danger not seek help?
As in who could’ve blackmailed him, maybe a ex friend or business partner or maybe the gov? Who ever it was has to have major power to be able to cover something up so badly but effectively.
