You did much better than I thought you would. I thought your buy price was pricey, but you were savvy enough to find a motor with really fat windings. I am completely surprised you got $230 for the steel. That's a stunner. I also think your gantry was at peak capacity, just be careful, that much weight can fracture a leg or foot without even breathing hard. I don't mean to be overly critical, bro. Congrats overall!
I'm an old customer of this scrap yard, I've provided them with good scrap for this reason I could negotiate a better price. Thank you and welcome in the community 👍😉🚀
M8 time stamp 07:00 using a speed wrench did make a lot of difference , because using a grinder on cast iron would not have worked . I like to use diablo blades ; they're a bit expensive , but I get more than 1 use out of them. Cheers on your success . Keep up the good work. God bless y'all and Merry Christmas to you and all your loved ones
😂😂 me too buddy 😉 coffee lover here. Thank you and feel free to stay around, we are enjoying happy people like you...as they say "Birds of a feather flock together" Thank you very much.

Good video! With a little extra effort you can get also the rest of the copper from the rotor! I am waiting for the next video!
Thank you my good friend, I will definitely try my best to create better content 👍😉🚀
@@ElectronicWasteExplorers Maybe don't use an Ai voice narrator next time.

you was lucky to pick one that had 10% copper in it most only have 8% then more luck that you could cut it in half that easey
Indeed this was an easy one, I've tried to pick an old one from the scrap yard.
Thank you and feel free to join our community 👍😉🚀
Those big f in motors pay about 7 percent of the total weight in copper. Sometimes less. Good day all, God bless
You are right buddy, I was lucky with this one.
God bless you too good friend 👍😉🚀
10 minimum
How long did it take you from picking it up then weighing it just wondering
From the time of pick up until full dismantle and full copper recovery approx 10 hours.👍😉🚀
Do they take the motors apart at the scrap yard?
I'm sure they do not, they fill containers and sell them as is.
What would you do smarter next time?
Maybe negotiate a better price.👍😉🚀
2 Question, what have you pay for this Motor, and what have you became after
151 pounds
What did it weigh.
Total weight at the scrap yard was 986 Kg.
