Wow! I have been looking at rentals online in Ghana and the Gambia for the past 2 months and this is the nicest place so far. A bath tub and a walk in closet. Those seemed to be rare in one place. Most of the places that I have seen only had showers and an Ikea type closet. Very nice.

@@ANDRADE1073 I didn't say all African countries are doing well economically. And I'm also African and travel extensively in Africa so I see what's going on. I said all African countries are doing great things in their countries which they are. We are all building and developing, just at a different pace.
Some of these comments are too funny 🤦🏾♀️ I’m guessing some don’t remember Trump saying Africans don’t want to go back to their huts is the reason they want to stay in the US.This video is simply showing Africa has more to offer than huts.Trust me, their are plenty of people all over the world who believe Africa, is a State, everyone live in a hut, there is no running water, no indoor plumbing, no one has enough to eat, there are no schools, no malls, no amusement parks, everyone run around with lions naked and the list goes on. Damn, stop taking everything she say in such a negative way. There is a need for videos like this to help people see the beauty instead of the lies 🙏🏾
These houses are very nice. The surroundings are A+. The interior design has more room for improvement. I have seen a lot of luxury properties but their interiors needs more improvement. I know we can get there.
They are too expensive but the Cantoments Condo is somewhat justified since that is really one of the best areas in Ghana and I suspect that the amenities are hotel like. That is sort of like being in one of the top places in Miami. On the other hand, the only way the home works is if you had like two families in there splitting the rent. The owner of that home would have been better off using all of that space to have a multifamily home with two units for rent and one left open for when he comes home.
Your husband definitely work that camera and the first apartment you showed looks better than a lot of houses in wode Maya videos wow and the second apartment that's being build look like Las Vegas Nevada in the United States and the first one looks like South Beach Miami I'm from Miami wow beuatiful.
well done guys love how smooth the transition went with the video, just nice and easy on the eyes, good job. keep you the good work, hope you find a home soon. peace and blessings
Heel interesat. Ik woon in Hawaii en ben van plan om in de toekomst naar Ghana te verhuizen. Ik blijf kijken . Hartstikke leuk hoor. Misschien wordt ik je buurvrouw in de toekomst.
I didn't realize the salaries in Ghana were substantial enough to support these rents for many citizens. The housing looked modern and many huge rooms, enough to have 4 roommates. That could pay the rent. I understand that water and power is another huge compromise in service and availability. It would be nice to have some smaller houses that more average citizens could afford to clean up the mud hut areas. I assume mud huts are free?? They seem temporary during the raining times. There are some who can make a mud hut very attractive like the clay huts (haciendas) of the Mexican.
I love this one... how much is the selling price for this one if not interested in renting but buying it?? What is their asking price?? I love that it has grounds and space around it... freedom!! Beautiful it is ...
I agree with this sentiment, houses in the luxury part of Lagos Nigeria are cheaper than Ghanaians. I think they are capitalizing from the influx of Africans in the diaspora moving to Ghana.
Tge diaspora is not the .major people running up prices, but NUMEROUS foreigners from all over the world are flocking to Ghana making it nearly impossible for locals to just survive.
When I first lived in Ghana I lived in east Legon and my rent for a self contained mini mansion including 3 BR boys quarters was 275 dollars per month. Today the same house is outrageously priced. At the bank I could easily get 30 to 40% return on my money now it's below 20% maybe far below as I left in 2008.
Thanks for sharing but my opinion.. the first house is nice but I will feel like am living in Europe flat again packed in container house 😛 .. second place seems too big since you want a bit smaller place .. wens je veel geluk ❤️
Just one request. Lots of returnees with families like you will love to live like you. Question: Are you able to do an episode on living expenses including renting, transport etc
My initial tip is always go with the condo apartments due to. 1) Security, 2)Amenities and 3) You are more likely to get the maintenance service that you expect. Those big houses are gorgeous BUT some of the landlords are absentees who are not going to fix the place for you when needed. Although Ghana is very safe, I think expats in a big house can be an easy target for the few shady characters out there trying to steal. They are too shy to go into those condo complexes.
