There's no slipstreaming, but there is a passive catch up system in play. If you fall behind very far then you get increased acceleration to catch back up with the pack (and full tune your car to actually be able to catch back up).
Finally someone who doesnt slam the wheel, honestly people who slam the wheel ruins the game for everyone
