- I did megadeth, Metallica... and it stays again one band i didn't play : Slayer :p
With their punchy song World painted blood from the album of the same name.
For all the guys who tell me "ey dude you have to palmute" This time it seems to be good :) !... For my sheety picking, it's another story :p
Played with my Dean VMNT angel Of Deth Dave Mustaine Signature V with elixir 10-52 strings in E Flat. and my jackon Kelly ke5fr for the "kruikkruikproutprout solo" :D
For the sound, i've used guitarrig 4 (with a jcm800 and Mezone preamp)
Always recorded With Ediroll Cakewalk UA25-EX soundcard, Sonar 8.5 LE, Kodak Zi8, After Effect

This song is in C# tunning; all strings down tune one and a half step. Drop D is one string.
@123italiano321 Metallica all nightmare long is drop D tunning (6th string to D). Van Halen uses drop D for: 5150, Drop Dead Legs, Unchained, New World.
Just a recommendation, try switching the side of the pick when you alternate, I picked the same way you did until I changed side and it's alot more comfortable, may take some time to get it right though

@TheElnick yes. You're right. I just checked it with my guitar. They do a lot of songs in C sharp now but not this one. I think Kerry King was talking about Skeleton Christ and Cult pon a video I saw. Kerry Kings white flying v "lives in C sharp" so he says.I think everything on World Painted Blood is E flat.

@MEGAxTHRASH eeh nop i'm really not satisfied furthermore, at this time, i'm working on Megadeth's holywars song and with the picking i have on this slayer video it's really not confortable :D (and it's here where you see dudes who learn by themself like me and..... the others....:p )

@darkedgekilla You're welcome :) but you have the same guitar in black with a X at the end the "vmntx" when you see a x at the end of the name it's the entry level mode generally with bolt on neck and low cost pickup

@TheElnick Yeah, i was look at this Vmnt series. I was thinking about getting one but i think it would be just better to upgrade my Ibanez with Emg 81/60's.
@FRsatanic666 bah si moi ca me désespère mais je vais essayer de remettre ca à plat :) en fait quand je regarde comme les autres guitaristes font, j'ai l'impression qu'ils couchent plus leur main sur les cordes. et le pb quand je fait ca c'est que je n'arrive plus a bien gratter mes cordes, mon mediateur buttant trop dedans... là j'ai surtout mis l'accent sur le palmuting qui etait un de mes autres défauts mais je vais essayer de remettre ca à plat pour la prochaine fois .

Is there a difference between the Silver Vmnt and this one?
I agree that his picking hand is strange... but so is Marty Friedman's. He's just doing whats most comfortable for him, but on the other end of the spectrum it would look way cooler if he held his guitar lower.

No offense. But i can play this song better. And i play on a lefty electric guitar. Which means i play it upside down and im right handed. But it's pretty good. I wanted to hear the vocals though.
