BBT is simply a likable person. Listened to many interviews with this guy and he comes off as real and down to earth despite being one of the best ever
I love the guy but I have seen one interview where he was really cranky. Kind of don't blame him though because it was supposed to be about his music and his band however the interviewer kept on about his movie star status so he kind of shut the guy down. Still love his acting. Big Goliath fan and the season of Fargo he was in was killer.
I love his acting, I always feel like Im watching a story teller when he acts, Nina Arianda is great too, she is like a slap in the face when she comes on, great acting from both.
We just watched Season 3 of "Goliath" and found all of it enjoyable except for that bit of fireworks near the end. We're hoping that Billy McBride survives and thrives. We need to see more of him and his wonderful team. BBT is one of our favorite real-life characters, and most of the people he plays onscreen tend to be memorable.
Matthew Nicholson I think so lol. It’s acting because like a comic you’re doing things you think but would maybe NEVER DO in real life. But I am blurring that line I my own experience- I’ll pull out some comic gem in real life now instead of stuffing it inside. But. If someone is acting THEMSELVES mostly it’s golden. And the exaggerations you’re can put on it is amazing.
And I got that bucket list. See his band The Boxmasters. He hung out at the venue and does meet and greets. Good musician. He's from Ark like me so we talked about that. He's cool beans and 100% REAL. LOVE HIM . Best movie is Pushing Tin. Hes an air traffic controller with John Cusack
I first remember him on a show with John Ritter, and he was speaking naturally with his southern accent. It was a long time ago. I immediately liked him and I KNEW he'd be a star sometime. I was not wrong. Most people know who he is. We just love Goliath. I hope there's a season 4.
Totally agree, great interview as usual! It would be great if any off camera stuff showed up here, no longer have audience network and I miss that stuff!
Came here for "Billy Bob" and "Goliath". Have no idea who Dan Patrick is. After watching this interview, tho, now have a bad impression of Dan. Of course, this may be because I have been watching "Hot Ones" lately. Compared to Sean Evans, Dan comes off as totally unprepared. Didn't have a clue as to whether Thornton did another Bad Santa. Asked him a question about what he draws on to play the lawyer in Goliath. I've seen in other, much older interviews that Thornton has said that he "kind of plays himself." Maybe it's unfair to compare him to the awesome Sean Evans, but now I think Dan is a lazy interviewer, just winging it with off-the-cuff standard questions, and having done little to no research on his guests.

What a great interview! Loved the Bad Santa drinking story.
The story about him throwing out the first pitch to his hero, was an incredible story.
His brand of humor, and how it almost always arrives from a place of agitation, is what makes BBT’s comedic style so unique.
Goliath is a GREAT show! Heavy on good characters man! Love it.

I love everything Billy Bob Thornton has ever done...
Excellent interview Dan. Really enjoyed BBT's stories and the Danette's uncontrolled laughter.

I knew he was “as close to acting himself” as ever. That’s why it’s good.
Billy - the ONLY actor I’d love to meet and talk to
Is it really acting if you are playing yourself? I really like BBT, BTW.

Amen to that. Just binge watched season 3. Hell of a cliff hanger ending.
Goliath is a phenomenal series.

Great season I saw it twice all the seasons, Superb his role! Wooow!
I love this show!!!!
Ótima entrevista de Billy!!!
He's superior in this roll. Big Dean's is the place. Billy did a shoot at my home for season 2,
I watched season 3 of Goliath last night. Yep, the whole thing. I am a glutton for BBT and the show. Love them both.
Hi Billy Bob it's Kay Thornton in Bakersfield giving you a shout-out would love to speak with you one day LOL k b t
Season 3 was good. Lots of unanswered questions though. Like why was her money burned, what was the key in the owl for??
Omg will there be a bad Santa 3 ?!?! Please
Great interview. Any chance of getting a different mic? Something that doesn't block your guest face.
