- I just started college at the University of Georgia as a freshman. I also just recently became a member of a sorority. A lot of you guys had questions about my life right now so I decided to sit down and answer them and just update you guys on how I'm feeling and what's going on! Love, Danielle.

Can you do a time management video for college and how to stay more alert and awake? I get so worn out after classes and always end up taking like a 3 hour nap and even after that, I'm still tired. And I get tired during classes too so that makes concentrating difficult. And if you could talk about tips on how to get better sleep or sleep easier that would be great too!
&& you can always make that video along with tips for high school!! Not only do I procrastinate everything but I'm ready to fall asleep like 24/7 lol!!!

as someone who's also majoring in business and HATES math with a passion, if you stay in business, the accounting class is all about just memorizing the order of statements and doesn't really involve that much math. so if that's the only reason you don't want to continue in business, trust me it's totally worth it to just push through that one class

Danielle, do you have any tips on how to not feel awkward during conversations? Lots of people say asking questions is what keeps the conversation going but sometimes i just have no idea what to say or ask and this also happens with friends. How can i learn to be more social and extrovert like you? I really want to learn to have your upbeat, happy energy :)
I'm a Communications major and I love it! I'm getting a Business minor also. It's such a fun and interesting major and no numbers which is a plus!

I am Real Estate and Marketing and its awesome because its Business but no harsh numbers!!
I just graduated from college in May and I didn't know what I wanted to do for most of my college experience until the last year which is when I choose to do business. Yes accounting may be hard if you don't like math ( I didn't either) but it's just one of those classes that you have to get through. I ended up choosing marketing as my concentration because I am a creative person and was drawn to it. By taking all the general classes you will definitely have time to try different courses and figure out what you like. I hope this helps!

switch to communications!!! i just changed my major to communications from business because i too love the whole marketing side and social media is so fun for me and business is too number-y for me and it is seriously the best decision ever!!!!! 10/10 recommend!

I was a business major as well and I was scared about accounting, but it wasn't hard at all! It's basically memorization
if you like working out, I definitely recommend looking into CHAARG, its an all womens fitness organization!

Going into my fourth year of business with a focus in marketing. The accounting class really isn't as bad as it sounds and I am awful at math haha. It's mostly basic addition and subtraction and then memorizing/understanding business statements. In my school you do a bachelor of business then major in marketing and I love what I'm doing and highly recommend it if you're interested :) don't let that one class stop you from doing what you want if you really want it!
You actually motivate me about being productive for school and actually trying. Seriously you are one of my favorite youtubers💕

If it's your dream no matter how hard it is and as long as you driven then you can do it! It took me time to realize that and now I'm pursuing my dreams into becoming an airline pilot one day. Never in a million years did I think I'd be able to fly. Don't get me wrong it is hard at times but since it is my dream I don't get discouraged 😊 go for that business major!
Maybe a video where you talk a bit more in depth about your classes and how you felt about the transition to college academically? :)

I had to take two accounting classes for my business major. Those classes were tough, but definitely manageable! As long as you go invest time in learning the subject you'll be fine. Joining/creating a study group is a great way to improve your performance in a tough class like accounting. Good luck!
I am a Communications major and I love it so much. Such an interesting subject and there are lots of job opportunities for the degree. I think you may like the PR or media side! I am in the Organizational Communication concentration and that's more HR related. I hope you find your thing and enjoy college! 😊

Just a note on accounting: it's real easy maths. Like real easy. We're talking adding with calculators easy. Obviously you've got to be comfortable with numbers, and the theory and stuff can be difficult, but definitely don't worry about the maths being difficult :) x
Oooh girl I took a COLLEGE ACCOUNTING CLASS ONLINE during my senior year of HIGH SCHOOL (which was last year) and it was NOT the easiest. If you have to take the course for your major MAKE SURE that it's NOT online!!!! During my online course I didn't have a teacher.... I was having to teach myself the steps to accounting. The first part of the class was easy for me but, the second part was a little challenging. Considering, I suck at math AND I was teaching myself I am proudly able to say I passed with an A- ... with that being said I KNOW you will be able to pass it with an A+ especially with the teachers at UGA and the fact you're a super hardworking gal.💁🏻

Hey girl, I go to GCSU which is an hour away from Athens. I am a business marketing major, and I am taking accounting 1 right now. It's honestly not that bad, and I am SHITTY at math. Don't let that discourage you from marketing!
Kind of had this on as background noise and when I heard you say you were thinking of switching to Communications my ears perked up! lol that's my major :) I'll be graduating in December and GIRL. LET. ME. TELL. YOU. There are legit sooooooo many options for Comm majors. Yes there is the marketing aspect, but there's also New Media where you basically learn about all the technology and apps and stuff that are breaking ground. There's public relations, human resources, event planning, management. So many things you can do with a Comm degree so I HIGHLY suggest you look into it!

Stick with business Danielle! Graduating with a degree from Terry is literally invaluable, and the Marketing program in Terry at UGA is insanely good. I'm terrible at math and I struggled through accounting but it pays off in more ways than you can imagine. Your grades don't matter nearly as much as your involvement on campus/your resume.
Please do a time management video explaining how you manage work, school, sorority, etc... it would be very helpful! Love your videos!

Hey Danielle, I just wanted to say I had to take multiple statistics classes for my major which I was not expecting and like you I am not good with numbers, however I tried really hard and got an A in both! It wasn't easy but it was very rewarding. Obviously choose the major thats right for you but I wouldn't let a few classes with numbers deter you too much :)
I'm in a program at my school that combines Mass Communications and Business so it's the best of both worlds, but I love math. :) Basically double majoring.

I'm a junior now and I switched my major from business to communications and it was honestly one of the best decisions I ever made! It's great bc I get to be more creative and you could do so many things with comm like producing, public relations, advertising, etc.! But I still have a business minor just for the heck of it. So you should definitely consider it :)
