I like that the price point of the Bauer tools doesn't scare aware the DIYer aware from a project. Even if you use it once, it won't break the bank. I'll have to check on the DeWalt battery adapter as I am invested in that line already and have a BUNCH of their batteries.
@@anthonyphillips8393hello 👋 I know this video is a little older, but there is a second adapter that's specifically works with the "max" lineup of batteries. Works beautifully!!! 👍
I don't have a need for a planer. "Oh look! I have a very specific 1 job that I need to shave a little bit off 3 boards. Looks like I'm gonna have to buy a small planer" 😂😂
@@TomHorsmanAmateurBBQ I'm just getting into getting tools as this fall my wife and I got a house and some land to work on and now I'm finding excuses to buy tools lol. Only have some bare bones basic tools but I want to get into a brand that has a variety that won't break the bank, and so far Bauer is looking like the best one!
I went and picked it up after watching this review. The only downside is it doesn’t work with my 6ah batteries, but it works with the 2ah batteries. Maybe it’s too much powers. I’m not sure what’s the largest battery size that can be used.
Yes... there are adapters you can buy if you have a different brand name battery. I have a dewalt battery, and bought a bauer cordless jigsaw (i liked the laser pointer it had) SO!! i just found it easier to buy an $18 dollar adapter instead of paying close to $100 for the bauer battery and charger.
Thanks for watching! What’s interesting is that the adapters don’t go the other way allowing the cheaper Bauer batteries to be used on Milwaukee or DeWalt

It works with my 2ah batteries, but it doesn’t work with my 6ah and that sucks

What's the purpose of a planner? From what I just saw it looks like a shaver?
