They dropped the ball (pun intended) on the stands by not having them look like pieces of a basketball court that can lock together with the stands of the other figures.. and maybe a separately sold court.
Bro are you being purposely naive. Hasbro would NEVER give you a court for free. Your getting that at the most insane price point with two players you won’t even want. They wouldn’t even give you a hoop without up-charging the shit out of you. They can’t even add a couple more joints the stand.
I feel these figures as baseball players would be super cool. They can have a variety of different hands (batting gloves, fielding gloves, plain hands), different heads, and multiple accessories.
Pretty weird that they don't include tattoos on these figures. Mattel puts most if not all of the tattoos on their WWE figures same thing with Jazzwares with their AEW figures. Not sure how Hasbro being the biggest toy company in the market are unable to put tattoos on their sports figures.

The WWE recently lost a lawsuit to a tattoo artist over her work (on Randy Orton) being displayed in their video game, so I’d imagine action figure companies are probably reconsidering whether they’ll be able to give us tattoos going forward. A couple of details other than tattoos that are missing on him are his wrist bands and more importantly his ankle braces. Steph is known for wearing pretty crazy ankle braces on both legs. Yes Curry is the all-time leader in 3’s made! Generational talent. Changed the game of basketball as we know it. Very crafty & great player. I am a huge sports fan as I was an athlete myself, but the price point of these disappointed me greatly. I was going to be a completionist of this line, but at that price I couldnt do it. Also without their tattoos it made it a definitive No. Great review brother!
I feel like another head sculpt with all of these figures would help, a “game face” if you will! Steph is known for hanging his mouthpiece out a lot, that would’ve been dope. And an angry or shit talking face for Jordan too
Would just get the MAFEX basketball players. They’re just a bit more expensive (on release). And they’re leaps and bounds better In articulation and accessories (magnetic ball, switchable shoes) compared to these guys. The problem is that they’re mostly doing big names like MJ and Lebron. But if you got to have NBA figures they’re the tops for 1/12 scale. Also fabric Jerseys allow them to actually use their waist articulation. The starting line up figures have good sculpts but you got to cut off that plastic jersey and replace it with a in scale fabric one.
What really bothers me in the articulation is that the neck set up should be great (look at how well Mafex Spidey is able to move his neck), but Hasbro just isn't good at making double ball pegs. Because of that, people keep asking for the disk hinge to return, even though that'll limit the range to only go forward and backward.
I’m a huge NBA fan and the $50 price point is very disappointing. The likeness is not greatly capture. The jersey and shorts look weird imo. The sneakers are done great tho. The book and stand could leave if the price would drop. Feel like it should be $25-$35
I hope they do a legends lineup, have players like Abdul, magic, Shaq, Kobe, all the older players who have retired or passed, a kobe figure would be amazing to have

Im not saying the price point is fair but I think the figure is targeted for basketball super fans or sports super fans in general. They tend to buy expensive merchandise to represent their favorite team. I just dont believe that a jersey would be very expensive and other accessories sports teams sell. Hasbro is capitalizing to those people.
I was waiting for cool basket ball 1/12 figures after my Dasin slam dunk one. I was hoping those Hasbro figures would be great but when i saw the first photos i was quite disappointed about the head sculpt and the overall look. Nba players look like nba animated figures. Thanks for the review.
I'm not a nba guy either really outside of loving NBA JAM lol. Weak ass base and not enough accessories for sure. Since no tattoos I think more general accessories should be included. Excellent review bro!
*edit: it was 2K not Mattel but the same line of logic should apply. So about the tattoos; recently, the tattoo artist for Randy Orton has successfully sued Mattel for copyright on the tattoos on his figure. While the decision is more than likely working through higher courts, that may be a reason the tattoos are missing from these figures, as they were already having to do the extra step of licensing the shoes and it not being worth the possibility of any lawsuits.
I find this to be a BS excuse. I can't wait to see the court battles and claims of artists, that they somehow own part of another persons body and therefore have rights to revenues that person generates. Someone needs to write a new law to make this clear and legally change the term for type of sales from "buying" to "leasing without possibility of ownership"

I really do not like the scale on this, I was hoping it would be more in line with Legends/Joe Scale. Considering that the line is going to feature a ton of reused parts, they probably should have just started at a little larger. Other drawback is that it looks very much like everyone is going to be pretty close in height, and I imagine when they add the other sports they'll maintain that, regardless of the fact that basketball players are generally a full head or more taller than the other sports. "I digest" lol
Awesome video 😇 👍 🙂.
I’m curious to see how the others will scale but this figure is definitely out of scale. He’s 6’2 and is just about the size of a power ranger. No bueno
Looks a little short for an NBA player compared to other 1/12th figures to be honest
Id pay 50 for jordan, penny or maybeee cleveland bron. Iverson easily too but theres no way im buying a tatless iverson.
Damn this actually looks pretty cool. They definitely need to do nfl quarterbacks
Good to see HASLOW reading and LISTENING to thier customer base...Ha!,Ha!,Ha!
About this figure
I give credit for the hidden thigh cut,as soon as I saw these figures I was wondering.
The tattoo issue,I have to give HASLOW a pass , the WWE/ 2K is getting sued by the tattoo artist of Randy Orton and I bet $50 bucks this is a big reason tattoos are being excluded... until the dust settles on the lawsuit.
It is a cold B-Ball figure if you are into that, which I can't wait to see the sales numbers because.....yeah.
Only real ones know that shartimus doesn’t have toilet paper
He should be taller than average guy , he's 6'2
They need to make NFL players in 6.5” scale
You digest?
What’s your fav sport shart?
It’s a cool figure, but I can’t justify spending that much for a figure, so hate the windowless packaging.
It looks like he is wearing a armor vest. Price way too high. Also they need todo a better job on the face.👎
can you compare it to Mafex Michael Jordan?
Give us the Dream Team and Space Jam figs old and new...
Sure guy
