Hmmmm Interesting I didn’t know that when u add salt to beans it cooks . Up to this day 14th of August 2023, I always think that when u add salt to beans in the beginning of the cook, it never cooks it will just stay like that based on what I was told in my childhood and that stayed in my mind.
Now I learn that it does cook but it takes longer time
