That tone is sick, love it!

It's refreshing to hear a bass tone in a metal song that isn't so fuzzed out it gets buried in the mix. Just pushing the gain enough to give it some sharp edges so it'll pop out in the mix is the tasteful way to get a good metal tone.

I have to respectfully disagree, I only ever play with a bright, clean tone so for me this is what I gravitate towards, the guitars can bring the grit and distortion 🔥
