Nooo I can't believe they'd close it! This BBW is the only one in the area, the next closest is 45 minutes away, and after that it's many hours away until you hit another so I have confidence mine won't close, but I still worry about it sometimes. 🥺

Honestly I didn't find any treasures really. Was hoping to find a pineapple mango mist in store, maybe a used once return someone didn't like or whatever. Didn't have any luck on that. Just found what everyone found.
Oh yeah, that would have been a fun one to find. Last summer SAS my store got a box of an online exclusive tropical scent shipped so it can happen sometimes. Day 2 was better for 75% off in my store since I think they were going through their stuff from the backroom and bringing it to the floor. Day 1 was kind of primitive, like you said, just what everyone else was finding in their stores too. Hope you can find some treasures eventually! 💛
Like others have said, I love the heartland look of your store. Such wonderful memories of shopping there as a teen. I wish there a website that had all of the older stores listed. Road trip for sure!! Thanks for sharing 🛍
So true! I feel that this is BBW in its prime. No matter how much they try to modernize, I still think of dark green and red gingham and wooden barrels with Country Apple body washes inside! 🥰
Your Bath & Body Works look like the old ones from the 1990's. I really miss that nice dim lighting back in the day and the stores seemed bigger too.
I went Sunday around when they opened. The 75% and the minis were pretty picked through already. My store didn't get the spray for Wild Madagascar Vanilla. There were some pieces missing for some of the other throwback scents, too. I got Freesia, Tahiti Island Dream (finally a coconut scent that works on me!) and a WMV cream and lotion.
I had a coupon for a free full size item, so I used it on a Fresh Amalfi Lemon lotion. (My store didn't have it on the kiosk, but they pulled one out of a cabinet for me.) I was really looking forward to that scent. My mom and I each put some on when I got home. On her, it smells lemony. On me, it dries down to a cologne-y smell. 😭 It's not as bad as Calypso Clementine, though.
I did an online order today. I think I have enough body care now, but I want to go back towards the end when they lower the price on soap.
Yeah, I wonder if having an earlier SAS threw the employees through a loop or something because so far, myself included, many people are saying there were lots of mistakes and disorganization this time.
Wow that's weird on the Amalfi Lemon! I was thankful it was a sugary lemon on my skin, but I know exactly what you mean because the cologne dry down happened to me with Clementine Calypso. 🥴
For my first day of the SAS I bought a Pink Peach Blossom 3 wick candle. Oh my goodness, I love it. It smells like sugar coated peach ring candies from Dollarama. I also bought a Firecracker Pop body cream/foaming hand soap which I think I'm going to return. I never purchased Firecracker Pop. I grabbed 2 items that were not on sale which were Watermelon Slices foaming hand soap and Sweet Strawberry Scoop liquid hand soap. I am not returning them. I never tried these two.

Great store walkthrough Melissa! The store I visited on the first day of SAS really didn’t have much as far as unusual treasures go. I did pick up some items I wanted backups of that came back during SAS this year. I am being very selective in what I purchase though, because I love fall and I know once it arrives in Bath & Body Works I will want several things. 😄

Thank you for the store walkthrough, the U.S stores, have so much stock in comparison to our stores up in Canada. I'm in a relatively decent sized town as well ( about 160,000.population ) so we'd have a bigger store than some towns. Still I found some great treasures, Calypso Clementine perfume for $14.99 and some wonderful 75% off items - Shea socks and some hand soaps for $2.22 - Sea Salt, eucalyptus and Lime ( from Summer 2023 I believe ) so good I got 3 - I'm obsessed, probably means we won't see it ever again 😅 / We had no lippies on sale, but generally our selection of those is rather small, those I usually buy at the mini sales. Oh I have to say I love Wild Madagascar Vanilla, so good....
Oh yeah, I've heard that about Canada vs US stores before room Maybe they are more scarce about shipping over lots of products at a time in comparison. I know my location in particular always has lots of stock throughout the whole sale. My town is about 25,000 population but most of that is college students that leave for winter and summer breaks. So SAS is not nearly as intense/hectic in terms of traffic as other US stores. As you can even tell in this footage, this was a few minutes after open on day 1, and there isn't a huge crowd or anything. ☺️ Oh that sounds like some great finds! I was hoping to see more Aromatherapy on sale but only saw the Rose Vanilla and Iris one for now. Same with 75% hand soaps, only 50% for me at the moment! Hopefully more will get marked down later! 😁 Hope you have a great start to your week!

My store is a small stand alone so they often do not carry products found in mall stores - since I do not drive have to rely on my son to drive to Long Island malls - but did pick up Cherry Blossom which I love and went heavy on the $4.95 mens body sprays. My son works in NYC law enforcement and deals with some really "funky smelling " characters in close quarters so loves the sprays. Did use my 20% coupon spent $43 but saved $119.

I bought Cotton Candy Cloud, Wild Madagascar Vanilla and Firecracker Pop. I got the FFM, shower gel and body lotion in each. First SAS. They only had spring/summer scents. $38 for 9 products. No coupons.
Nice haul! I hope you had fun shopping the clearance sale! It's good you were able to get complete sets of each scent. Mine seemed a little spotty, only having shower gels and lotions with no spray, or some sets having spray and lotion but no shower gel. 🤦🏼♀️

Quick heads up for anyone looking to buy candles from the sale, I just double checked online and the Bridgerton collection and new collection featuring Bronzed Sunset, Santorini Coast, Starfruit Sangria, etc. are NOT $10.95 despite them being on that sale table in this video.
Other than that, I love getting to see glimpses of your local store! I already picked up Strawberry Soda, Cotton Candy Clouds, and an extra Sweetheard Cherry body wash!
Not gonna lie, my store was a hot mess on day one of SAS in terms of mislabeled and mispriced items! 🤦🏼♀️ I had to do a return on things I found on clearance tables that actually ended up being full price. Especially with the high turn over rate at my store, I had a feeling it could be that way. 😩 Another pro tip, read your receipts closely in the parking lot before you leave! 😁
If those were on the 10.95. I hope they would honor it for those who were able to get it off the table before they realize.

For some reason at my store the Dahlia bodycare was in the red bins and people thought they were either 75% Off or $3.95. It was a hot mess at the register! 😂😂😂

Actually on that note, I think Dahlia is supposed to be some clearance? I thought it was on my 75 percent off table. Although lately I don't trust my store with their prices currently. 😂

Hi there! From what I've noticed, on a fragrance's debut/first release they will have a uniquely shaped bottle. Then if the scent is brought back or has been decided to be kept as a longer-term signature fragrance, then it's perfume gets the square bottle. It doesn't happen every time, but that's mainly what I e noticed from watching the trends! 😊

hey melissa do you have any guesses as to when would be the best time to pick up the summer collection body butters (pink paradise, vacation vibes, etc.)? i know they probably won't be in semi-annual sale at all but what's the best body care deal you might expect on those?

Good morning! I know it! My store messed up with pricing signage, and I'm pretty sure they weren't honoring the 10.95 price even though they messed up the marketing. When I went to sort out the lip gloss I bought full price by accident from the 75 off table they wouldn't honor it even though they knew it was their mistake. 😅 Back when I worked there, if we knew it was our mistake we would honor it but oh well! SAS is crazy! 🤭
As for mark downs on soaps, the last week of SAS right before July has proven to be full of markdowns in the past, so I have my fingers crossed for then!

@@CelineFerocious Yeah, they're going to be repackaging Japanese Cherry Blossom so they are clearancing the one they have now! Also, Cherry Blossom (different from Japanese Cherry Blossom, totally not confusing 😅) is also supposed to be in stores on clearance right now too after being discontinued for a number of years! Smell them both to compare if you can! 🌸
