I wonder if the combined compression and heat are creating pre detonation. I'm sure you are working on it. Has anyone ever ran knock sensors and like a mega squirt 3 for more data? I'm fuel injected educated only. Some times it helps to take a day off and walk away. Just seems like it's RPM related. Other than that the car is already a bad MF and well driven. Good luck and I hope you come back better than ever. I never learn anything from success BTW.
