    After the shortened Bengals game on Monday night, I subconsciously knew we were in trouble. And then we didn't really change a thing going into the playoffs again against the Bengals. That is bad coaching to me.

      Bengals we’re moving the ball easily against us up to Damars injury, clearly coaching staff didn’t look at what they were doing or looked at it and didn’t have a solution because they picked up right where they left off in the divisional game.

    Josh Allen Quote towards Dorsey, "I let him down, I should have done better for him. He battles and stays working until late in the evenings, and calls me to talk about plays". Now I Love Josh Allen, but that isn't Leadership by him, Leadership by Josh Allen would be demanding they run the ball 20-30 times a game, so I don't get injured doing it, Leadership by him would be saying I want a number 2 Reciever this off season, Leadership by him would be demanding a better offensive line this offseason, Leadership by him would be asking for more screens, curls, crosses, line out passes, and no more Madden all out everyone go down field.

    • @revonthemic
      @revonthemic Год назад +5

      Hyde would have been elevated for the AFCC Game. Frazier has an antiquated defensive philosophy. He’s far too conservative and in the biggest games, he coaches not to lose instead of coaching to WIN!

    the process works up to a certain point (like getting to the playoffs) but when the storm comes and you need to be in a flow state in order to make creative play call adjustments is where the process fails. The process by definition a series of actions taken in order to achieve a particular end. This clinical, protocol like approach has failed the team in big moments and it starts with the coaches. If you want to dance you need to feel that flow and not overthink every little step your taking. i think this is where mcdermott falls short unfortunately.

      I couldn’t agree more. You know they say first time head coaches often figure things out in their second opportunity because only then are they faced with the man in the mirror - left to contemplate what went wrong and how they would change things if they ever got a second chance.
      I’d be curious to know how many actually figure it out while on the job their first go-around? McDermott seems like the stubborn type who won’t learn until his opportunity is taken from him. I hope I’m wrong.

    Fraziers defense is centred around disguising coverages, before the snap they lineup in a amorphous two high shell but post snap they rotate the coverage into something completely different. So it’s easy to look at snap shots of the alignment before the ball is snapped and think what kind of coverage is that? Poyer, Hyde and White are keys to Fraziers scheme because they can play in cover 0, cover 1, cover 3 and other variation's they make Fraziers scheme versatile. However, the 3 of them have never been on the field all at once in these big playoff games when eliminated. Which is a damn shame.

    They’re running the same thing back next season. They would have started to make changes, already, if they were… shows complacency. Shows we are buying into the excuses. Yes. It was a tough season. But the tough season doesn’t explain this. Someone has to go! This can’t be put ALL on the players! Which is what the Bills are essentially doing. The coaches are taking no culpability in these performances. And the excuse of, “The 17 year playoff drought…” it’s unacceptable!

    The biggest issues with this team is no strong run game, and no pass rush. I don’t know if the run game is personnel, O Line, coaching or a combination of all three. Von Miller was a difference maker, the defense couldn’t generate any pressure without him. Most top tier teams have two high quality guys on D, who is our second guy on D? Secondary was decimated by injury, White not the same guy after injury.

    McDermott is really making me question him. You have to build from the front then back they've spent all their money on the secondary and linebackers. The bend don't break philosophy is no good the best defenses hate giving you a single blade of grass. They should be a 34 in today's NFL best way to affect QB is to mix up 4 man pressures. Dorsey was figured out after the packers and never adjusted no screen game no short game no run game there are real problems that always come out when Josh isn't super human.

GREAT players elevate the players around them. Yes it was a shit defense we had BUT defense doesn't score points. Josh choked we built this team to outscore the other team not to stop them...Josh choked and he did 3 times in playoffs. Bills should be looking for a QB that can actually do something in the playoffs

    • @craigthompson168
      @craigthompson168 Год назад +1

      He didn't choke. If you're referring to the Houston game, he wasn't even polished yet and his team was dog shit. It was his first time. The first Chiefs game, the Chiefs were just the better team. The second Chiefs game, Josh did everything you could have asked of him and then more. If you think he had anything to do with that loss, you don't know anything. And the Bengals game, the team was bad in every aspect. The line couldn't block anyone, there was no run game, and we were exposed as an offense that really isn't good unless Josh plays like Superman. He can't do that every game. It's ridiculous to think anyone could.

    Buffalo has a nationwide reputation a a loser sports town. 4 straight Super Bowl defeats. Usually one to two done in the playoffs. Start out strong but fade in the end. Even their hockey franchise is considered a joke nationwide. I know the Cowboys are taking flak right now, but at least they won 4 Super Bowls. Houston owns MLB right now. All 3 Texas NBA teams have won NBA championships. Face it, the word champion is not taught in Schools in Buffalo. In addition, signing a 32 year old on the downside Von Miller to an $18 million contract!!!! He'll be 33 next year.....guess what guys in the NFL that age don't make it all year without getting hurt.

    Fire Frazier and Dorsey, it’s been about a week and it’s not done yet… I really hope they don’t stick with either…. Frazier even though the stats say we a top defense, it’s definitely not. Brissett a career backup threw for over 300 yds, that’s saying something…..I been saying all season come playoffs we going to lose to any good team….3rd string from Miami lit us up , if waddle caught them passes that were in his hand they would of won, get rid of Frazier, he puts no pressure, plays 6-7 off a man , the list goes on…..Dorsey abandons the run , he not creative at all, very one dimensional, throw to many long balls to bunch of WR that drop as many as they catch….Diggs only reliable WR, what sucks is we have 0 cap space , we going to lose a few good players, Beane made it clear we wants to develop our talent blah blah blah so basically we stuck with this WR group, he has no intention on grabbing a real #2 WR so we better hit one in the draft….. our OL sucks….. we have so many holes that need to be filled…. The window is shrinking , if we don’t win it within next 2-3 yrs , it’s never going to happen sad to say but that’s the truth

    I'll give you the answer, and it's its quite simple. Josh Allen is overrated. They've been trying to put him in the same tier as Mahomes for the past couple of years. He's definitely a step below and needs to learn to check down instead of deep balls and running on 3rd down. And the defense is soft.
