It’s so sad that when this was first aired no one was ready for choreography like this. This dance is absolute perfection (amazing choreography by legend Tessandra Chavez, stunning dancing from Gianna, and an emotional story portrayed about Gianna struggling with her parent divorce). This dance was before the Chandelier music video which I think opened a lot of people’s eyes to seeing what dance can really be (it doesn’t have to be pretty because emotions aren’t always pretty). It’s just so sad to look at these comments and see that no one understood this dance 8 years ago.

I don’t wanna take away mckaylees win but i know if these three solos were being judged on their own as opposed to being judged along side everything these girls have done throughout the season… I feel Gianna should’ve won because this choreo was awesome and intricate and she played the role so well

@@cxlrnnnn5531 They actually used a lot of songs at audc that was on dance moms. Both in s1 and s2. Probably because Liftime already had the right to use those songs from when they picked them out for dance moms and vice versa.
