The 32 sedan needs to be sent to a good body specialist to *slightly* increase the the width of the fenders. None of that FRP widebody bolted onto the car business, proper metal work.
Yes, you want less bump, but also less rebound for drag racing, at 18:30, and to play with springrate itself so that when it squats it stays squatted/ing the whole way through power...i see when you switch gears the car keeps resetting itself at top suspension from no power being put down, and having too high of rebound...making your next gear spin the tires from top stiff suspension again.
I think his springs are too light for that amount of power, if he goes up a 1 kg/mm or 2 and drops the dampening he might see a improvement. My buddies r33 on tein coilovers with the factory spring rates doesn't bottom out at all and keeps the squat through the pull. And the R33 has the LCA pick up like the s14 from factory

@Eradicationist rebound definitely is too high every time he comes off the throttle the car unsettles. In dry conditions it might be fine but in the damp thats way to dangerous

14:49 it's called thrust angle, that's the risk of doing toe plates. It doesn't tell you thrust angle. Also bias ply tires aren't like slicks, once you break traction they spin. Slicks are sticky. So at the drag strip once you have a little spinning, they let go completely
Don't think of it as SQUAT, think of it as your wheels are jumping off the ground(hoppin). You need more spring/pressure to keep the wheels planted. In drag racing, it's a balance of enough pressure to not hop But light enough pressure to transfer weight for traction(double adjustable shocks help put finishing touches on it). You can also have too much Anti-squat. For example a C4 Corvette has too much, while a C3 vette has none, both need different changes to set up for drag race but both needed a stiffer/stronger rear spring. Shocks/dampers will help slow the squat and hold it/slow the return. Quick/violent changes breaks stuff. Still you will not have a comfortable ride, if you want traction with lots of power. I'd bet the car has less traction with the changes you made. A full on surface prep track car suspension, is not the same setup up as a no-prep/street either

Definitely need to take it to the track an test, you can't really tell what itll do on a cold asphalt road that looks like it might have dew on it lol. Regardless that last run looked alot better
Need new video from outside during a launch. See if that camber is moving under load. You also don't want the rear shock extension to be too quickly, you'll top out the shock and also lose traction. Gotta make that trip to Bradenton. Garrett's crew will help you get that suspension figured out
Z-roy is definitely a car that could benefit from all the advancements of the LZ build program. You don't want to redo the sentimental cars but this one deserves a full rebuild with the much higher level of skill y'all have developed
I race rc cars so I’m sure the theory will translate to real cars which you will likely know most of this already. increasing anti squat will increase forward traction, adding toe will also help with forward traction, having the least amount of rear camber will help with rear grip and straight line stability.
