Thanks for this. New to Linux. This is one of several criteria required for me to switch from windows. Other tutorials would have me doing all kinds of things I don't yet understand with terminal commands. Gigolo just works, and is clear and easy to understand - more like the windows implementation. It or something similar should simply be included with the OS.
@burnbarrelmedia thanks for that. but i think i did the mistake there. suppose u have 2 windows pc, and u want to transfer file from one pc to another. then u share that folder to the network and connect to the other pc (map network drive)...... but i have one linux and one windows pc, want to connect a folder from my linux setup to windows. and sorry my english is not good.

Make sure Samba is installed, right click on the folder you want to share and select "sharing options"
