It's so nice to find an actual good channel that teaches more about relaxed hair care. Not gonna lie, my hair has grew a bit using your tips. 😊❤ Much love. I used to use that line, it's wonderful!
Hi guys! Here is my honest review of Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil line - a hydrating set of products that will give your dry, dull hair a seriously shiny boost.
Thank you for being so encouraging. We, “relaxed royals” need it from time to time. Thank you also for being “easy on the ears” (well spoken), because I am easily distracted by fast talking, smacking, the use of “umm” and if it’s presentation is too culturally abusive, (too much slang). Please keep up the good work 🙂🐩🍓🐩❤️🙂!
Renee Brown Renee - I can’t thank you enough for your kind words. The fact that you take the time to write me a supportive comment means the world. Take care and glad to have you as part of my wonderful community!
The number of different products they have is overwhelming. The moisture retention shampoo was the 1st thing I tried years ago and is still holy grail for my relaxed hair.
I was so happy when I saw Shea Moisture hair products at the Walmart I shop at. I had to buy Jamaican Castor Oil. So I am going to give it a try. This might be the only hair products for my hair. Since I can't find anything else for my type of hair. Will give this a try.
I just found some in my country and city for that matter and I got myself the strengthen and grow shampoo and conditioner. Can't wait to use them. Nice review
Found this line at Shoppers! Used the leave in. Initially it feels really greasy, which I don’t like, but I have to say my hair is standing up nicely to the cool weather. Can’t wait to se if it still keeps my hair soft in January.
Your video is on point!!! I'm just thinking about trying the SheaMoisture black castor oil clarifying shampoo. I have realized lately that clarifying is not part of my regimen and that might be the reason why my hair is always dry and mushy (too much build up, I guess). I have tried a couple shampoos among the SheaMoisture lines, with no success, and I decided to stick with the Joico Moisture Recovery shampoo and conditioner as well as the Elasta QP creme conditioning shampoo, which go well with my hair. Oddly though, the leave-ins of the SheaMoisture black castor oil line are awesome, and really help me manage better the two textures of my hair when I stretch between relaxers. But, I'd definitely try the shampoo to clarify my hair and see how it goes 🤔. By the way, i really recommend you the Elasta QP creme conditioning shampoo, if you have not tried it yet. It's light (sulfate and paraben free) but so creamy!
Christine J. Musset Thank you, Christine! I really like this clarifying shampoo. It did wonders for my hair. It was so much easier to curl too and was super shiny. Will definitely look for the Elasta QP!
Hi Dominique! I tried the JBCO shampoo yesterday and it made my hair sooo soft! I was pleasantly surprised, in particular since i feared the reaction to the apple cider vinegar in it (my first encounter with cider a while ago was a terrible experience). But, honestly, this shampoo was awesome! I followed it with the conditioner, which i heated and left for 20 minutes, and the result was fantastic. I plan to continue using these 2, clarifying my hair once a month. Really thanks for the tip 🤗
1st, you really look great with bright lighting(Wal-Mart) and I bet the Shea line also has no silicons & that is how my wash day goes without a hitch. The comb always cooperates but I must say I do see the wonderful result you achieved using this line. I would at least like to try the shampoo! I love you hair styled that way and with all, you did this summer hair shows no sign of wear!
I'm glad it worked for you. I have the shampoo, conditioner, and leave in. I used it for a few months but unfortunately it didn't work for me. It left my hair heavy and felt like it had some sort of waxey film on it.
Thank you for making this video 🥰This product saved my hair from crazy breakage. May I just know how many times I’m allowed to use it during a week ? I also use bathing maschera from this line 😍
I love shea moisture products especially this line that you used I also love the raw shea butter moisture retention shampoo conditioner and also their deep treatment Masque these are the only two for now so now I'm going to go out Saturday if it's the Lord's will and look for a conditioner to use it as a pre pooing because I'm going to let the bo fives go I'm going to use up what I have and then let them go cuz I just want to use organic products in my hair since I have a relaxer I want to be the one to control the proteins that go in my hair and whatever chemicals that go in my hair I just don't want too much build-up finds chemicals and proteins. Thank you so much for the review God bless you💓🙏
Hi Love! I'm really enjoying the Shea Moisture Line and I'm happy with the results I'm seeing from using more natural products! Good on you for using up what you have!
I love your videos Dominique! You’re so positive and beautiful. How long did your hair stay moisturized before you had to apply the leave in conditioner again?
Do you ever think about going totally natural? I heard you mention that you like your sister’s hair but something about your texture being different. Not saying that you should or should not. You have a pretty face and warm personality no matter what’s going on with your hair. I did big chop and have been Matt for 2 years. I never thought that I would stop using the cream. Lol
@@StyleDomination dont do it you said in another video you are busy Natural hair ain't no punk!!! I'm getting my creamy crack back on Sunday and I can't wait ... finding your video gave me the push I needed to set the appointment DON'T DO IT ..... TO MUCH WORK
Have you ever tried the Joico K-PAK deep penetrating conditioner. I know it sold at Ulta and some salons. When I was relaxed, it made my hair feel awesome.
@@StyleDomination keep up the great videos. Not all products work for everyone but it was worth a try. Currently trying the Joico moisture recovery range, thanks to you.
Thank you for the review. Do you think the Shea Moisture JBCO line made your hair softer/straighter than it usually is? Was it harder for your hair to hold a curl? If you blow dry, did you add any product to your hair prior to blow drying or do you let your hair air dry? Your hair looks very soft and the shine is nice, but you always have a nice shine to your hair. Good video.
Hey Sweetie! I definitely found it made my hair softer! I notice that leading up to relaxers, my hair can get a little dull. This brought it to life! I didn't add anything before blow-drying for this video. Usually, I will add a little almond oil or argan oil to my hair before air drying to keep it soft.
is SheaMoisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen & Restore Shampoo and conditioner good for twa hair? Because I’m about to order it and it’s like 33 dollars total, please help me out
Sorry for the confusion. I washed, used a conditioner, then used their leave-in conditioner. I left that in my hair, then dried and flat ironed. Thanks for watching! xo
Shea moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil son muy Buenos productos llevo 4 meses usando los productos en mi cabello y he notado mucho la diferencia, no te vas a repentir.
Shea moisture products have too much hidden protein in the form of keratin. My hair becomes dry and rough. The shampoo, I only use once during my stretch, just for cleansing. Watch out for the moisture protein balance if you are choosing to use this product as your go to.

This set is one of my must use. It is my absolute favorite. It’s not even supposed to work this well on my fine hair, but it works amazing!

The only Shampoo I use for my hair is this.
I tried the mask and my hair really didn't like it, but it loves the shampoo.
I have been wanting to try this
Give it a go, Britaney! I really liked it and the price points are great!
Been waiting for you to review this!!!!! YAASSSS! You are the best. I just got the shampoo but now will try out the whole range.
AWESOME!!! So glad I could deliver!
Hey! I LOVE how your hair looks! May i ask how you got them so wavy? which technique did you use? Super pretty!
I love your videos Dominique! You’re so positive and beautiful.

Shea moisture is a hit and miss for me....here in Calgary it’s freezing cold☺️
I saw that!!! You guys already have snow! It's cold in Ottawa too, but not Calgary cold!! Poor you!

Connie Holmes Thanks, Connie! I have! While I liked it, I preferred the Joico Moisture Recovery Deep Treatment Balm!
I sometimes use a small amount of that treatment balm as a leave in. She Moisture Manuka Honey and Jamaican Black Castor oil are some of my staples :)

First time here u are so pretty and thanks for the review
Yup will try that.
Love your hair!
CarlaDoll6 Thanks, Carla!
I am going to try them... I don’t relaxer my hair but wear it straight. Your tips helped me ALOT! Thank you 🙏🏾 🤗
Hi Kind of a weird question, did you wash out the leave in conditioner or leave it and then started blow drying or styling your hair after?
Thank you for the review. Do you think the Shea Moisture JBCO line made your hair softer/straighter than it usually is? Was it harder for your hair to hold a curl? Wait I’m confused. Did you wash your hair, then use the deep conditioner, then wash it again?? I got lost in the steps hah
Sorry for the confusion. I washed, used a conditioner, then used their leave-in conditioner. I left that in my hair, then dried and flat ironed. Thanks for watching! xo

Nope. I found much better, more conditioning products.
