Frank Welker really does some impressive animal sounds, it's the reason why they always hire him to do animal noises and creature/monster vocals in horror, science fiction and heck even children's movies since he's an animation voice actor since 1969 on Scooby-Doo.
looooool, I finally found this scene. remember I was a kid, my family with some friends were at a big bar/restaurant. lots of people, eating, drinking, playing pool, just having a good time. they had a huge tv with random stuff showing in the corner, so me and some more friends just started surfing the channels. anyway, I change the channel to exactly this scene and the monkey screech fills the whole place, people flinched in horror to see a guy thrashing a monkey in his teeth. I turned off the tv in horror and looked confused as the whole place started at us in awkward silence. looool
I'll never forget this film. I like this film so much, since George A. Romero is one of my favourite directors and I think he did an amazing job on thie film! I'm gonna give this film an "A+" since this is one of my most favourite horror films!
That was earlier. Before his death, Geoffrey revealed the truth. Naturally Allan was furious about Geoffrey lying to him and being a guniea pig. Now that Allan knew what he was up against, he had to do that to save Melanie. Plus it proved that he could have the surgery to get his body back.
Yeah pretty much, to be fair the monkey was killing people due to her being psychically linked to our protagonist (the quadriplegic athlete), he had to end it once and for all.
@@jonaaasssj Yeah what he said but I'll give you a bit of context for the movie, this man used to be a athletic guy but he suffered a horrific accident that has left him a quadriplegic, meaning he can't use his arms and legs. And later he gets an assistance from a really well trained capuchin monkey but we find out that the monkey became psychically linked to this man (due to experimentation), also whenever this man gets angry or angered the monkey feels said anger and will kill said person who pissed him off. And if I remember clearly, he can see the monkeys actions when he's dreaming. The movie is bizarre but definitely one of George A. Romero's most underrated film that isn't zombie related, I say give it a try.
Ahhh such a great movie. The ending is even more insane when taken out of context! I love it.
True that! I actually laughed when he bit her, but got to screaming then laughing at tye end. 😆
@@bovineapples3012 She wasn't laughing. Her last noises were of pain.
@@THOMASINTHE1980S I didn't say that the monkey laughed. I was saying that I had a mixture of emotions because of this scene.

I know it's supposed to be a horror but I just want to adopt the monkey, put a sundress and tiny hat on it, and have tea parties
I’ll never forget the childhood memory of me flipping channels one Saturday morning and coming across this
LOL..he was crazy before playing Hank Voight.
Well he had to kill the monkey

@Anime Is Shit Everyone smiles with an Invisible Gun to their head.
😭😭😭 poor monkey he sso adorable but evil
I remember this scene being much more tender, where the monkey is hugging him and he tears up before biting the monkey. Is this another cut?
Weird I remember that too
I do as well.

Thing of beauty, especially for people who can’t stand monkeys.
What's happening to him
Monkey is an evil murderer, guy is paralyzed from the neck down. Guy tricked the monkey and killed it the only way he could.
@@SovereignSmurf Thank you for clarifying that. A lot of people took this out of context, when the monkey was literally a psychotic killer!
Don't you know your gonna shock the monkey!?
