Santal Majescule is my favorite Serge so far FOR ME because I typically don't like sandalwood fragrances, but the way it comes across is like a gourmand rose and wood scent and is so different as a santal frag. Instant love when I tried it. I need to try this Serge Noire. Thanks for getting me into the brand last year; an amazing house of French perfumery.

Honestly I haven't smelled all the Serge's especially some that could be really dark like La Myrrhe. I think Ambre Sultan may be the best one that I own but it's not that dark.
@@robes08 Did you mention that you have Le Couche Du Diable but haven't opened it? It pops up on Fragrantica as being similar to things like Black Afgano, Laudano Nero etc. Must be the Labdanum. Sounds right up your alley. I'm considering a blind buy soon.

i love serge noire! One of the best but underrated one. it's spicy and musky. You are lucky to have a bottle as sadly it's discontinued now.

It sounds like the kind of fragrance that should have had tobacco in it, considering it’s my favorite scent. 😂
They have a few tobacco scents, think Sheldrake had to get away from it for a while.
