Quite possibly the best version ever. Whole crew got their game on for a hot rendition. Maybe if the solo went twice as long, but Steve had it tight. A few comments here express that things weren't perfect. Well, friends, that's just rock. Sometimes the passion is worth more than the perfection. Pretty easy to throw stones from the crowd.... or shoes. If you get that you are an Idol true fan.
There's nothing better than these two together (Steve and Billy). I cut my teeth on 80's rock guitar heroes, but was always drawn to this duo (Steve was always underrated as a player IMHO). Met Steve Stevens a couple years back at Sweetwater. He took time to chat with each and every person that came to see him even though the line was a mile long. Always great to learn that your hero is a great person.

24 hours ago this song popped up in my random shuffle, here I am the next day, still watching various versions of it. It's odd, I don't remember liking this song a whole lot when it came out, I didn't hate it but it wasn't a favorite, but now it's one of those ones that gets in my head and stays there for days.

I think I'd be safe in saying that without each other, they don't exist. But that's just my opinion. It's hard to imagine either of them moving on without each other....kind of like a three legged rocking horse.

Billy sounded top notch there. The band was on point. But wasn't too impressed with Stella on this track. Nice enough voice, looks good and all. But her voice was too high and light for the R&B gutsiness of the song. Not husky rich as, to me, the song and Billy's muscular voice demands. Nonetheless, overall, great jam.
Thomas Minker Totally agreed....that was what I was thinking as well...this song calls out for a gutsier female voice to play back and forth with Idol. Pretty much the only thing I did not like about this vid. I'll volunteer to sing with him....no wimpy voice here!! LOL (I also kept wondering if the guitar player might have been Ron Wood....but probably that would have been mentioned if so).
