I love when he says "You need to see the light again." It reminds me of Snake Man's theme. Protoman walked away from Light.

I know Make your Choice is Wily 3, I Refuse to Believe is Wily Bosses (Yellow Devil and Gamma), and I'm Not the Breakman is Weapon Get...but this one escapes me.

Yeah, all in different ways, though. I have to say I love the personality they gave Needle Man in his song. Loved how he was basically Air Man's opposite.
Savos Mok I love that one :3 I like Shadow Man's personality too...like how he's consciously succumbing to just a sense of battle-lust and how he's terrified by it. (Kind of a bit of lyrical dissonance with that upbeat tune his theme has XD)
Not sure if he was really terrified of it or just questioning his resolve or reflecting on how he's changed.

+SuperSpinBros //Heavy_94 I think that the very beginning is Rock to Light, and that the chorus is Rock to Protoman. Protoman joins in at the end. The lyrics dont make a ton of sense for Blues' established character from Not the Breakman, but do work with Rock.
head theory: in this version, Protoman interrupts the battle against Wily/Gamma, and thesecond verse is Rock trying to convince him to switch sides. The modulation at the end represents the point when, just as things are looking bleak for Rock - surprise surprise - Protoman joins his side and Wily is doomed.

SO, who is this song between?
I think it's between Blues (Proto Man) and Dr. Light.
It's Mega Man Reflecting on his Father's rage at Wily, how Break Man let his rage destroy him, and struggling with the temptation to kill Wily while he's fighting Gamma Piloted by Wily and his brother, defiantly stating to Wily and or Break Man that he is not just a machine and his wishes that he hopes he can save his family from themselves.
Basically this is Mega Man's answer to Make your Choice and him growing out of his exhausted worn out warrior to a wizened warrior who's got his determination to see the fight through the end.
