I was able resolve the issues with simply replacing a blown fuse. Its been two years, since and no issues and I have two tips to help prevent this happen to your Porsche this winter.

    Moisture in the compressor freezes and blows the fuse. Once it warms up a bit replace the fuse and all is good.

      Thanks for the comment and I'm glad it helped. It's been over 2 years since I replaced the fuse and it's worked perfectly the whole time.

      Hopefully it's not a sign of an air leak. Mine has been good for 2 plus years since changing the fuse.

    My notification is in yellow not red. 2103 gts. The fuse is opaque you can’t see against a light. But I looked into it and it’s not blown. Ride is stiff as if constantly on sport chassis. All ride heights still work. Sport mode (as in engine plus ride stiffness) does not engage. It’s “not available. “ any hints?

      2013 gts. I rode it harder than usual last night for about 2 hours. Between 75 and 95 mph. Partially in sport mode. I live in socal so it can’t be the cold weather because it’s 40-70 every day. I have summer tires with correct Porsche spec pressure. Thanks ! Was really hoping this would solve it. 😢

      Your notification says "Fault" (yellow) and not "Failure" (red) correct? Faults are usually electrical related. By any chance did you raise any of the wheels with a jack because if you did and you did not put the vehicle in service mode it confuses the vehicle and can trigger a fault. Try checking all the electrical connections including the top mount on the front struts and all fuses and relays.

      @@SerhansGarage hey thank you so much, never saw this comment. it ended up being rodent damage. my mechanic said i was the 5th cayenne customer that month from my town. overpopulation. a week after he fixed it, the sport chassis button stopped working. sports mode still works, lowers the car, puts on louder exhaust/open valves or whatever it is. when i in sports mode put it in regular chassis mode, that works. all 5 different ride heights work, as do all the off road levels. when i then, still in sports mode but on normal chassis mode, press the sports chassis button, it does not work. it does not light up, and doesnt change the suspension stiffness. in other words, in order to change the car into stiffer suspension, i always have to engage sports mode. i am wondering if it's just the button? the button does light up when i put it in sports mode, however, when in normal mode, when pressing the sports chassis button, it does not light up. wondering if thats a remnant of the rodent damage or whether i should try replacing the whole unit with all those buttons? i guess it could be between the unit with the buttons, and the wires/circuits that connect to that unit. done spending money on this thing, everything else runs amazingly.

    Yes that's a good video with the fuse but the Porsche Panamera 2010 has the same problem but my issue is not the fuse I don't know it might be a bottom control arm bushing chassis failure system it goes away when the car is level i just hope is nothing but front end work can u let me know of anything

      Many things can trigger the chasis system failure - leak in air shocks, bad compressor, bad sensors such as leveling sensors and ABS sensors.

      @@SerhansGarage hey thank you my car I noticed that when I park it on the hill slanted or something it gives me that chassis failure system but when it's on level ground it's normal so it might be the level sensor like you said process of elimination is not the ABS it's not the leak on the shock or the compressor hey thank you very much 👍👍👍

      But I do have a clunking sound when I go over potholes or so so I'm thinking it might be the control arms or the stabilizer links hey thank you and let me know if you know it could be that 😀

    This happens to me every single winter!! How do I know if the fuse is blown?

    • @SerhansGarage
      @SerhansGarage  7 месяцев назад

      Pull the fuse and visually inspect it, if it's blown it will be obvious

    I had the same problem and went to dealer and wanted to change the compressor and gave me an 5500$ estimate and i end up fixing it with 5$ fuse

      Wow, some dealers are not very honest or knowledgeable. It's been close to 3 years for me, same fuse, no problem.
