- Really clean run with really good amiibo rng. Ganondorf clips could be better but they still weren't bad. I tried doing a new strat at the end that could save ~10 seconds but didn't quite get the timesave (I found it by accident and haven't really figured things out yet). I'll probably try 1.2 runs soon but I also kind of want to try for a sub 44.

You absolutely will not stop crushing this game. Every couple of days I get the notification from RUclips: Player 5 has done it again. Really impressive, man. You're a relentless trailblazer in the early days of speedrunning this game. Excited to see where you take this run. If there's anyone who can bust this game wide open and optimize every facet of beating it quickly it's you.

If you listen very carefully while watching Link clip through the ceiling within the first 60 seconds of gameplay, you can hear a Nintendo QA team member scream in terror from thousands of miles away.

I’ve had the game for 3 weeks and I’m still not done. This is seriously impressive.
Took me 2 months to finish it, although I did the completionist playthrough. (152 shrines, 120 lightroots, max hearts and stamina, all main quests, one armor set maxed, all sage’s wills)
Same thing like bro is progressing so damn fast.

The last strat was so cool and unespected it's like seen a magican taking off a new trick of his hat
It was discovered during the stream for the last wr, ideally it can be better and he can just dive off of zelda right above the stone and fall straight to it, skipping fireballs entirely and shaving around 10ish seconds from the usual dive, this time however he had to save himself with the air slashes to reach D.D.

I've been playing this game since it came out but taking my time exploring and doing side quests, shrines, etc. Avoided all spoilers and speedruns until I finally finished it today. Immediately knew I had to look up your runs and see what I've been missing. Absolutely insane 🔥
At this point it's not a matter of who will hold the WR, it's a question of how fast you'll beat your own record. Crazy stuff man, and GGS

Link has the triforce of courage. What's cool about watching this is that the way he controls Link is likely how Link would truly move--smart and fearless.

In the Fuse Shrine, after the first bomb jump to get you high on the wall before the construct, could you do another bomb jump either up on the wall or when you land on the same floor as the construct to jump over it and the breakable wall to save time?
No, the cutscene will always trigger even if you don't touch the ground until you're past the breakable rocks.

I don’t know enough about the speed run community but would it be faster if you dupe an extra bomb flower and use it at the end of the ultra hand shrine to get a wing to go straight to the entrance of the temple instead of running?
Running is faster than wing.

Would it not be faster to dupe an extra bomb and bomb-arrow the construct Captain and stone wall at the same time? Also, duping extra bombs means could use bomb-shield to get back to ToT slightly faster..? I'm not an expert, but it seems there's room for another 5+ seconds there.

How did you do so much damage to ganon? I know royal halberd’s have Fleury rush damage boost but i never seen it do that much

For some reason, if Link is in the air after the last hit on the stone the next interactive "final attack" scene loads faster. It saves around 8 seconds.

I beat the game for the first time 2 days ago. Over 200 hours (I was taking my time and enjoying it). Not having to worry about being spoiled anymore, I was curious of the speed run. It's laughable how fast this game can actually be beaten.

Why do the beam attack for the last attack in demon dragon, isn't it slower?
it speeds up the load time afterward (right before you get the “final attack” prompt) by like 8 seconds for some reason

I’d say 44:15, the routes prolly gonna change before it gets that low anyway

No, my sum of best segments is a 43:54 which isn't perfect but with currently known strats I don't see us saving more than a minute off of that.

@@BowlOSoup6661 I was once part of a big german RUclips Network and they had pretty good connections. Some of us got promoted because our content wasnt just gaming and we did some more complex stuff. Somehow they approved it back then :D I had the mark with....45k subs I think

how did that level 34 halberd do so much damage to Ganondorf?
a glitch known as “zuggling”: basically all the weird menuing you saw him do right before ganondorf was him duplicating and stacking multiple weapons in his hand simultaneously, which massively increases damage output (not sure how many he has stacked here, something like 6-7?)
on top of that the royal halberd he’s using doubles damage during a flurry rush, further increasing its damage and allowing him to kill each phase in a single flurry rush

Incredible run. Can anyone explain the use of recall during the army split? It happens so fast I can’t tell what’s going on.
After you throw something Link has an animation that puts his arm back into a normal position. (Preventing you from throwing rapidly.) Using recall skips that animation
Essentially, recall allows for faster throwing. Animation cancelling at its finest!
