Turn down your engines before launching flares to ensure they will miss while using fewer flares than usual. 3: SARH missiles need for their launch vehicle‘s radar to see you to track you. You can fly low to avoid them. (SARH: Semi-Active-Radar-Homing) 4: The Jammer on your aircraft weakens Radar-missile locks but it’s not quite enough to prevent a SARH from hitting you. To evade SARHs you have a few options: 1 - fly below 20 meters of altitude 2 - Notching (play tutorial mission number 3 to practice it) 3 - occlude your enemy‘s radar by keeping a hill between yourself and your assailant 5: Radar guided missiles can regain their lock up to 2 seconds after loosing track if you re-appear on their radar in the meantime.
