2018 INFINITI QX60 WON'T CRANK OR START...1 CLICK FIXED

- Car was left parked. Came back to start it and it would not Crank. Did not hear anything but a Click. Tried to start it at least 15x. Thought it was the brake switch but the brake lights worked. Brake switch was prob good. Battery was good. Headlights were bright. All electrical accessories worked.

I watched the whole video and dude could have made the video in 1 min. I have a 2016 QX60 that had the same exact issue. Unfortunately, there’s no videos that explain where the starter is located on the QX60. After searching for a half hour I was able to locate the starter which is basically located under the battery but slightly to the left. To remove the starter the whole entire battery along with the battery bottom plates has to be removed. There’s a bolt on the bottom of the starter . To remove that bolt the front driver side tire and the plastic inside fender plate needs to be removed. It’s really tight in there but it can be done cuz I did it. Saved $650 bucks doing it myself!
First off I want to thank you. Your info helped me to a great deal. I was able to get to the bottom bolt for the starter with a ratchet extender. I tried from the bottom but there was too much in the way . So if anyone is in the same position with this model and mines was a 2015 follow these instructions but use an extender for your ratchet to get to the bottom bolt. I am just providing the last part. This lady is the real hero!

For a 2014 QX60 (v6, "Basic" model), it is exactly where he describes it is. I did jack the car up and put it on stands, however, after locating the starter, I learned you can get to it from the top and you don't have to do it from underneath. I had to use ratchet extensions to reach the two bolts that hold the starter in place. The bottom nut you can't see but you can get to it by feeling for it. It's directly underneath just like the top bolt. I had to remove the battery, battery trays, the mount that holds the battery tray and the computer module. All is fairly simple. I removed the air intake with the air filter, but that may not have been necessary. Breaking the bolts takes some effort but I used a standard large ratchet and extension. You can do this. :)

Yes, it was a waste of time. My QX60 after you turn it off, it wont start back unless a get a jump.
You could have made this way shorter!
I had the same issue in my case it was showing me key ID incorrect and the problem was a small fuse check all the fuses on the left hand side of the driver side where all the buttons of tail gate and heated steering are.
